High ranking government insider question 9/11

No I don't care who the guy is himself, what the guy said was true that al qaeda, especially bin laden and the 19 hijackers were under constant surviellance. Just thought I'd mention the Able danger which was one of the program used to gather and compile information on them. Thought it was worth taking a look at, that's all.

Obviously, you've got evidence to prove the heavy CIA infiltration of Al Qaeda (presumably right up to the top level, and in every single cell - as would be needed to be sure of their knowing about 9/11). Perhaps you could share this with us?

Bin Laden was under electronic surveillance, sure - but aware of the fact, and able to take measures to avoid it. For example, there's evidence that Bin Laden took care to use a human messenger - instead of electronic comms - to plan the USS Cole attack.

No I don't care who the guy is himself, as long as he agrees with my version of the truth. Just thought I'd mention the Able danger which was one of the program used to gather and compile information on them. Thought it was easier than doing any real research, that's all.

Fixed quote to represent the reality of the situation.

There's nothing like a breaking news story, Geggy, and this is nothing like one:

The CT infatuation with "facts" frozen in time continues.

Geggy, what would you have done?

Now before you answer this question let me just put something to you. Right now, at this very moment in time the security services are in all probability monitoring hundreds, if not thousands of would be terrorists. From guys who want to blow up abortion clinics to the animal libbers who want to smash up a few testing labs. In amongst all these lot are probably Islamic fundamentalists who want to blow up me and you.

The point is the US and other western intelligence agencies probably receive lots and lots of threats on a daily basis. So the question should be “If they know who these guys are, then why not arrest them?" basically what you are wondering about the 19 hijackers.

Well there is the little matter of civil liberties. That is to say you cannot simply arrest people because of what they might do. To do so would simply invite an outcry from any human rights organization or civil liberty campaigners. So what do the security services do? Well my friend they walk the line. That fine line between providing us all with security and safety and not infringing on civil liberties of individuals. This line is put in place by us all and something you must recognize before you start pointing the finger at those who walk it.

Right now in the UK, security services have smashed a plot to blow up further planes and arrested and charged and dozen or so guys. Already it is being labeled a false flag, an infringement on civil liberalities by a few.

Had they arrested the 19 guys prior to 911 do you not imagine the same would have happened?

I can imagine that evaluating what is" clear and present danger" is very difficult given the massive amounts of threats that are issued, not just externally but internally within the US. Add to this our basic human rights, i.e. freedom of speech, movement etc. Then you may get a small understanding of the difficulties those who try to protect you face everyday.

Now just sit back, relax, engage a few cogs and have a little think about it all. Then answer the question.

The only thing about the link provided in the OP that isn't completely depressing is that I feel a little less bad about not having a degree. Clearly, one can be degreed out the wazoo and still be a blazing idiot.

So sure, I'd still be an idiot, but think of all the time, money, and effort I saved.
