Glenn Beck sitting on explosive story:

That reminds me of the time when one of the challenges on "Match Game" was "Explosive ... blank." When Gene Rayburn put the challenge to the panel, all except Brett Somers said, "Diarrhea." Somers said, "Decompression." The contestant was flustered and perhaps thought she was on "Password"; she said, "Explosive ... bomb???"

Gads, I do miss that show.

Beck needs to apply a lizard-skin prosthetic to his face, then cover it with a duplicate of his face, and then rip it off, exposing him as a Raelian and he's here to control us all. Then cut to 'technical difficulties'. Next day, come back as though all is normal.

The Icke forums would go insane. :D

That would be the best thing ever.

Or as Beck would say it: THE. BEST. THING. EVER. (add fake tears here)

Well he does have his head up his ass.

Compared to Beck, Geraldo is a top-notch journalist.

Geraldo actually did have a record of noisy, self promoting, but genuine acheivments in Journalism before he caught the Wacky Train.

Beck had zilich, nada on his resume before his pandering to the Crackpot Crowd except being a radio "Shock Jock" , just another Stern/Imus wannabe.

As far as I can from his radio program today (which included a generous amount of sobs and sniffles) his big issue is that the existence of the tea party is at stake, and therefore, America.

ETA: Oh and immigration amnesty. And a rally happening. And the constitution. And the destruction of freedom. And the children!

The existence of the Tea Party is indeed at stake, but mainly because of infighting and the Libetarian and the Religious wings of the movement being at each other's throats.
Oh, and that the American Public has pretty much decided that the Tea Party is too extreme has something to do with it.
I guess Beck has realised he is never going to be a mainstream sucess again, and is going to devote all his efforts to pandering to the Wingnuts.

Most mainstream conservatives were poking fun and ridiculing Beck over his endless "bombshell stories".

I pretty much agree with that.

It reminded me of a interview I saw many years ago with a pro wrestler, on a daytime talk show (I'm talking years ago, with a host like Phil Donahue or Merv Griffin) where they teased the wrestler about whether wrestling was a sport or just a put-on. I think he was asked, did he consider himself an athlete.

He was cool, though. He said very good-naturedly something like, "I just consider myself someone trying to earn a living." The audience laughed and he laughed too.

No, I'm pretty sure that was last week's show. I took notes.

I just got word that Scott at Where Liberty Dwells (some of you may remember Free Conservatives) emailed about the Beck conspiracy. Seems they have proof Obama blackmailed Justice Roberts to get him to vote for Obamacare. They have the 'embarrassing emails'.

Seriously.

Apparently Roberts wouldn't resign over the scandalous documents since that would've allowed Obama to replace him.

Really.....seriously.

Gee, it's almost like the "Tea Party" is just the Republican Party in funny clothes.
