I'm not speculating, I'm stating fact: my neighbor is the main demo of Beck's show. She doesn't "get this" type of humor. In her eyes, you are the villain, and her best course of action is buying his next book and bumping his ratings. It helps Beck, it doesn't hurt him.

I understand: your goal is hilarity, not fixing anything. And that's a good thing, because this won't.

I think this is a legitimate point. This might be fine for those of us that understand its meaning and get the satire but to others it will be either grossly off putting or simply serve to feed a victim complex.

He has nothing to prove. The accusers have everything to prove.

As far as I know this started out as satire on Fark.com and has spread like wildfire. Those idiots can be sued for libel if this damages him professionally, socially or personally.

If you think it's so funny why don't you PM me with your name, address, phone #, name of you wife/children, brothers/sister, mother/father and friends. Maybe it could be arranged for you or someone close to you to get turned into the CPC for child abuse. No matter if it's true or not, by law they have to investigate. You are now officially in their files. If it happens again, they will put you under a microscope and none of the neighbors will let you get near your children and friends and associates will disassociate with you and you will be wearing a Scarlet Letter the rest of you life.

Unlike Glenn Beck, DavidJames isn't a public figure who is accusing, without evidence, another public figure of not being an American Citizen.

There are very different rules for public figures where libel and slander are concerned. If you don't believe me look up Flynt vs Falwell.

Totally agree that it is all lies and innuendo, but I was not aware that he was planning on hanging himself, nor have I heard who has provided the rope. I refuse to stoop to this level and spread such rumors any further. Too bad though that Beck won't just deny his plans.

No way, he is a fringe player at this point who is hated by all the other networks. He is the enemy figure that the main stream media wants to discuss, he is so unreasonable that he actually helps Obama.

I think it will, which is exactly the problem. It's certainly not going to hurt him. At best it falls on deaf ears. At worst it hardens the resolve of his supporters.
