First time I've used the term AFAIAA. Can I suggest that instead of coming along and dropping 'put downs', you make a contribution to the debate, or did you really believe that your calling me 'ignorant' makes it so? Perhaps expand how I 'come across as ignorant', together with examples.
Your claiming 'people are affected in different ways by sexual assault' is not the final word on the matter as you seem to arrogantly state. It is just a meaningless cliché you dreamt up as a dig.

If I could, it would just get my adult daughter to explain to you what its like to be sexually assaulted as a teenager, and explain to you how it has effected her for every day of the last 30 years of her life. I won't because I would not put her through that. She doesn't like to talk about it, and still, after all those years, it brings her to tears when the subject comes up. As a father, it also tears me up inside because, just like 30 years ago, when I was powerless to do anything to help her, I am now powerless to make her feel better.
You ought to be utterly ashamed of your attitude to rape and sexual assault of minors... and as a woman, doubly so.

Lies. I did not claim that you "support rape of minors". NO-ONE HERE, NOT A SINGLE POSTER HAS ACCUSED YOU OF THIS!!!
What you have done, and this is clearly obvious to anyone reading your posts, is to show that you are totally indifferent to what they have been through. You have (and I enumerate)
1. Dismissed their claims.
2. Questioned why they look so long to come forward.
3. Claimed that age of consent is just a technicality
4. Questioned why trafficking under-aged girls should treated more seriously than trafficking them over the age of consent.
5. Victim blamed the under aged girls, implying they were were already sex-workers so it they brought it on themselves.
6. Made excuses, after excuse, after excuse, after excuse for Maxwell's behaviour.
(I'm sure other posters will be able to add to this list with little difficulty)
All of the above is indicative of someone who has ZERO understanding of the trauma suffered by women who are sexually assaulted and/or raped and/or trafficked for sex, particularly the young and vulnerable ones that were preyed upon by Epstein AND Maxwell.

The fact that you express these views, and double down on them when called on it, gives me a fairly clear idea of your attitude.

I call shenanigans. Men and women are both human. We have far, far more in common than not. We are all equipped with empathy and abstract reasoning. I do not for a moment believe there is any aspect of the human experience that cannot be adequately understood and explained by one sex to the other.

I don't want to add to the Vixen vitriol though I have lots to say. I was abused sexually from age 4 to 8ish. Vixen's words are hurtful and I don't know why they exist. Just to protect the rich. It's strange and I have all sorts of uneducated guesses as to why

1. Yes, you did. You said I should be ashamed to be a woman for daring to disagree with you. I haven't dismissed anyone's claims. I have explicitly stated each time that it might have happened as they claim.
2. Sorry, but coming forward thirty years after the event and naming people to Fox News as having raped you as a child yet you never reported it at the time because you were too traumatised and suddenly you can't wait to tell everybody the minute details of Maxwell's supposed rape of you personally before dumping your naked self on your grandma's lawn by a gun man who abducted you there, as I said might have happened, but is useless information if you have no medical or police records to back it up. Even if the young woman was 'too traumatised to report it' then her grandmother had a duty to do so as her guardian.
3. As for 'under-aged girls' - an emotionally loaded term - Giuffre was seventeen and seven months when she met with Prince Andrew on her trip to London with Maxwell; on UK soil and jurisdiction she was NOT 'an underaged girl' but a young woman free to sleep with whomsoever she wished. It is yet to be proven that Maxwell trafficked her in exchange for money to have sex with Andrew. If Giuffre can produce proof she was paid for sexual services with Prince Andrew then she has a good chance of winning her case. However, she was not a 'young girl' she was a young adult. Stop trying to bring the emotive subject of paedophilia into this.
4. It is a fact that Maxwell is being charged with sex-trafficking four underaged women. However, she and Maxwell are alleged to have had a huge stable of literally hundreds of young women aged on average early twenties/late teens. So why has she not been charged with running a prostitution ring??? She is either a sex trafficker or she is not.
5. It is a fact that Giuffre was a sex worker from an early age. She lived with a convicted sex-trafficker long before she even met Maxwell. She says so herself.
6. I have not made any excuses for Maxwell's behaviour. She has not been charged with 'rape' or 'sexual abuse' whether of minors or of adults. It is a pity the people who claim she abused them as 'young girls' did not report it to the police or their doctor at the time, and nor did their parents or grandparents. I get that they 'might have been too traumatised' but that explanation provides scant evidence of Maxwell's guilt.
7. The reference to my degree was in the context of having studied how PR, advertising and propaganda works. This was in direct reference to the huge PR campaign mounted by Giuffre and attorney Bradley Edwards. There is nothing wrong with highlighting and campaigning social issues, as long as one is aware that we are being manipulated into assuming Maxwell is the most depraved monster who currently walks the earth. She might well be but we haven't yet heard her side of the story. She strongly denies the claims. Yet you know she is guilty.
Can I ask gently whether your daughter went to the police?
