They remind me of Hockney. The one of the house with the path meandering up to it is very like Hockneys recent landscapes of the Yorkshire Wolds.

This article at TechDirt points out that the portraits GWB painted are all painted of top Google image results, and muses if someone will go after him for copyright infringement.

I used to paint, studied fine art as well in college. Bush's paintings are neither horrible nor great--they're pretty average, some better than others. As someone mentioned, if hew weren't who he is, noone would give a rat's behind.
