General UK politics VIII - The Last Tory

I think the Tees might be the border for this question, mebbe the Wear, as Carrot Flower Queen is firmly in the haddock camp.

I am undecided. As long as it's not pollock...I have horrible memories of pollock...
Cod country on the North Yorkshire coast. Fresh from Bridlington, Whitby, Scarborough or Hartlepool (yes I know that's north of the Tees but we can see it on the Headland as far south as Staithes.)

I don't mind a haddock, I used to visit Anstruther quite often for work. When I covered for our Scotland engineer I would stay in a hotel there converted from an old Bank building near the harbour. Marvellous fresh fish.

What I love about Western democracy is you can bung a political party £ 36 million earned from criminal activity & most media will continue to point at asylum seekers & migrant care workers with families as the barbarians at the gate we need to defend ourselves from.

Not one mention of the terrorists who committed mass murder, nor one word of condemnation. So telling.

Today marks 25 years since the attacks of September 11.

We remember all those whose lives were lost and shattered that day. And we honour the bravery of first responders, many of whom are still battling illnesses and campaigning for their right to healthcare.

What followed was a catastrophic 'War on Terror', which killed many hundreds of thousands of people, left many more in desperate poverty, fuelled a wave of Islamophobia, and triggered an endless spiral of conflict, hatred and misery.

The US led, and Britain supinely followed. The world is still living with the consequences of this disastrous decision, yet there is still no accountability for the death and destruction it left behind.

Today, we must learn the lessons of history. That means recognising that war is not the answer, ending the horrors of occupation, and striving to build a world of peace and harmony for all.

Thanks to the generosity of Christopher Harborne and Ben Delo, Reform will now be able to fight and win the next general election on a level playing field.
Britain is broken. Only Reform has what it takes to fix it.

Another £36 million today.
That's £72 million in 24 hours for our fighting fund.
Only @reformparty_uk will take our country back!

WOW. Reform has just received a SECOND donation of £36 MILLION!!
Christopher Harborne just matched Ben Delo’s record donation.

If you can't get good fresh fish in that part of Fife, you really aren't trying.

Most of those coastal villages are lovely - I do like that part of the world.

Meeting Skegness Reform councillors at site where there are rumours of a large mega HMO for illegals being plotted.

We will campaign hard to stop it. ❌

Pollock - the unnamed fish, so popular it has to be called fish:

I do wonder what motivates Harbourne. What does he want?

Made a fortune out of early investment in blockchain tech and crypto. Hasn't lived here in two decades; he lives in Thailand, but one decade ago he threw money at Brexit. Since when he's donated to the Tories but now hurls giant wads of cash at Farage and Reform.

What does he want to get out of it? If it's "nothing" please point me at all his other philanthropic projects.
