General UK politics VIII - The Last Tory

Nigel Farage
@Nigel_Farage

Since 2010, the established parties have taken nearly £1 billion in donations, and handed out dozens of peerages in return.

In their first year, Labour handed out £138 million of government contracts to their donors. The Tories are just as bad.

You know what Ben Delo and Christopher Harborne want?

Nothing. Just a government that will fix Britain.

And that's what Reform UK will deliver.

I'm proud to have the support of some of Britain's most successful entrepreneurs.

LABOUR IN PANIC MODE

Labour has taken £165 million from unions since Electoral Commission records began in 2001

Now they’re crapping their pants the table has finally been tilted against the Establishment 🤷🏼‍♂️

Let the electorate decide!!

Ignore the media hysteria.
The money that has poured into Labour and the Conservatives far outstrips anything raised by Reform since its creation in 2021.

🚨What a 48 hours.

Two record £36 million donations.

Ben Delo first. Then Christopher Harborne matching it 🤝

£72 million in two days. That’s not pocket change. That’s a party being given the means to build properly 👇🏼

staff, target seats, policy, ground game. The kind of machine older parties spent a century assembling.

Say what you like about mega-donors. The numbers are historic. Reform just raised more in two days than some parties manage in a year.

Game on 🇬🇧

How much longer can trade unions continue donating to @UKLabour I wonder?

Reform UK are increasingly the party of working people. Labour are the Benefits Party.

Labour are so desperate they are asking their members to donate their universal credit and PIP to them.

Oh I don't think they want nothing if they are hoiking 72 million at you, Nige! Those slimy shysters don't just give away free money by the sackful! ;)

Smells a lot like they have found a willing idiot front man to launder their ill-gotten gains into the UK. And take the fall if caught. Did they give you any hints who Reform needs to pay with this pile of loot? Might be some clues there...

I like Donald Trump. But I can’t believe he said he’d love to see a united Ireland

That would mean breaking up our country. It’s absolutely wrong. It’s not what the people of Northern Ireland want.

Northern Ireland’s future gets decided in Westminster not in Dublin and not in Washington
Aww, poor widdle Benny. The occupied counties are nothing more than a little bantustan hived off of Ireland to placate a bunch of protestant supremacists who feared having equal rights as the rest of their fellow Irish.

The only thing stopping PMs of either party handing them back is the precedent.

Tax dodging Dickie was on PM just now, comparing Delo's money laundering antics to Louise Haigh and her phone, as they are obviously exactly the same thing.

One difference which occurs to me is that Haigh pleaded guilty and was conditionally discharged, while Delo is still claiming that he didn't do anything wrong and was targetted by US officialdom and needed to get Trump to pardon him (how exactly that came about is a complete mystery, involving the most venal and money-grubbing US president of my life time and someone who clearly likes to throw money at dodgy politicians, a complete mystery, baffling, utterly baffling).
Remember, a presidential pardon in tbe US is usually an admission of guilt.

It's like some of these folk have no idea how trade unions work...That they are representative of ordinary working folk (disclaimer: I was a member in good standing of NUPE, then Unison, all my time in the NHS), who can all opt out of the political levy, so union donations to Labour are because the membership allows it, i.e. it is a representation of democratic wishes.

And since when were union members The Establishment?

Bribes from dodgy crypto billionaires (is there any other sort?), not so democratic, quite the opposite.

When I walk around my constituency the bin lorries will pip their horns at me and give me the thumbs up, as do the posties, as do the taxi drivers, as do the bus drivers, as do the white van men. Small businesses invite me to their premises every week, every pub I go in regulars want to shake my hand and buy me a drink.

These are all working people.

Wake up !

On my way to church this morning with my son in the car, I was followed from my house, and when I arrive near the location of my Church I boxed in by multiple police vehicles, and surrounded by eight officers.

My son is traumatised by the experience!

The only thing they could put on me? Window tints they say are too dark.
We all know why this is happening.
