Kurdistan, as it was never a seperate and/or independent territorial unit, also cannot be called "occupied territory".
What about Palestine?

indeed, Palestine did exist as a seperate territorial unit, between 1922 and 1948.

..ouch.![]()
'Palestine' as an independent/separate territory has never existed.
But suppose you're right. That would make Lebanon and Jordan occupying powers of the Palestinians.
or the independent homeland of the Palestinians.
I like how you just threw that in there.
was that a hint of some deep belief you hold?
How would you describe Jordan in relation to the old Palestine?
this thread is about the Israel/Palestine conflict. If you really want to discuss Jordan, make a new thread.
It would look like untended land instead of green farm land in rectangular patches. What would it look like? Do you expect to see it painted white and blue?
Man, he walked right into that one. What about Palestine?
Jordan resides today where Palestine used to be, I'd say they're a big part of the story.
guess what? Jordan became seperate from Palestine in 1922.
so, that means, as far as the official Mandate of Palestine is concerned, Jordan was NEVER part of it.
So did eventually Israel.
If you read your own links, Israel and Jordan were born out of the British Mandate, and they both became independent countries, but for some reason Israel is the "occupier ".
this is what is called "revisionism".
Israel never became "seperate" from Palestine. Palestine BECAME Israel
this is true. Palestine was never independent.
..but it was a seperate territorial unit, unlike the Basque country and Kurdistan.
You just showed a link about the Mandate of Palestine, Are you now saying that was not Palestine?

Separate from what?
what exaxtly do we call Palestine before 1923..including the part that is today Jordan? I'm not sure.

But again, the article is clear: the Mandate of Palestine officially commenced after Jordan was seperated from Palestine.
