Free Larry Sinclair, Obama's political prisoner

Yes, I am aware. thank you for asking.

But, there are multiple people in jail for reasons I am unaware of.
All I asked is for you to look into the question you had asked. You seem to believe there was an injustice here. Do the legwork and find out.

Nope, no information on why Larry Sinclair was arrested by the D.C. Police.

Maybe they sent him to Siberia?

:13:

What? How dare you challenge his JAQing!

You are supposed to make his assertions for him, so he can keep arguing all day long. Don't you understand his logic?

Here is a statement.

Larry Sinclair was arrested by the D.C. Police and no charges have been revealed.

Did you contact the local police and news agencies or are you simply assuming that if it's not on the net the information isn't available?

OK.

Even if this is true (and given your history, I'm less than certain of this):

- This does not mean charges haven't been filed.

- Even if charges haven't been filed, that doesn't mean the police had no business arresting him. (They can legally hold him, I believe, for several days without filing charges.)

- Even if the police had no business arresting him, this does not mean that the Obama campaign orchestrated or asked for the arrest. (I would go so far as to argue that if they had done so, they would have asked that he be arrested before the press conference rather than after.)

- Even if the Obama campaign did ask for the arrest, this does not mean that the arrest wasn't justified, or that his claims were legitimate.

- Even if all the above were true, it still wouldn't make him "Obama's political prisoner."

Non sequitirs and innuendo do not evidence make.

Really? I could have sworn that I saw somewhere that there was an outstanding felony warrant in Colorado.

Is there some new rule that I missed hearing about that if you commit a felony and cross state lines that you are immune from arrest?

Maybe that's why the 9/11 conspirators hijacked planes in Massachusetts: once they crossed the Connecticut border, no one could touch them!

:p

The Federal Marshal Service arrested him because I asked them to.

I was not alone in this, about 1000 other people also asked them to.

It was a CONSPIRACY. *cue diabolical music, lower main lighting, bring up red accent lights*

It was on about every Liberal blog on the planet that he was going to be a the Press Club and that he had outstanding wants and warrants. And given that, and given that I am always one to help Law Enforcement, I dropped a dime on the MF.

I'm sure a nice lawyer-type person can verify this, but I believe that if there's an outstanding felony warrant, then yes, charges have been filed, and his arrest was perfectly valid.

UPDATE 7:01 pm Wed June 18:
According to a poster at Sinclair’s blog–who claims to be his mother–Sinclair is to be transported to Delaware, where he’ll appear before a judge. The amount of bail will be set at that time. It seems unlikely that bail will be granted, since Sinclair skipped out on $15,000 bail in Colorado and is still wanted by the Pueblo Co. Sheriff’s Department.

Free Larry Sinclair

Funny, I hear he charged for it. :duck:

According to the story above it was basically bloggers who annoyed the police into arresting him. Probably not a great idea to make yourself a public figure when you have warrants out for your arrest but then again, Larry Sinclair is a :rule10ing lunatic.

Opie, Anthony, and Jim Norton interview/humiliate Larry Sinclair (This was on the XM side of the show. VERY unsafe for work or family settings).

part 3

Which would not give the D.C. police a reason to arrest him.

It is woeful the understanding of America in this thread.

Before anybody asks; When law enforcement becomes aware that you have skipped bail and have a warrant ANYWHERE in the USA, they will arrest you pending extradition. Its a little feature of the US legal system call "reciprocity" and its a great idea IMHSHO.
