Presidents coming and messing up plans happens all over the place, all the time. Pretty much wherever the President goes, it disrupts all the activities, including things that had been planned for a while. Only with Obama, though, has that become a big deal.

This was in the news for many days and nobody here mentioned it until a non-conservative, non-hard "rightie", started this thread.

That's why we give Travis the big bucks. We know that our conservatives are not really conservatives. They're reactionaries. They need someone else to start a discussion so they can give useful evidence like:

You have to be somewhat disappointed by this thread then, since none of that happened and this story has pretty much blown over, even in the "hard-right" blogosphere.

I'm not in the least disappointed. Maybe it's a sign. Only one conservative giving the Pavlovian "... but there's got to be something wrong, here.... it's Obama" reaction is a vast improvement. Maybe longevity is the cure for ODS.
