But will this debate provide enough material for SNL?
When asked what he thinks about people hollering violent and angry things at his and Palin's rallies, McCain essentially said he's proud of everyone that attends the rallies.
No, no, no, lets not be bias and stupid about whats going on. I am totally against Mccain winning but im always honest to myself and others.
The question that intrigued me was the one where he asked why their VP would be better than the other. In fact, McCain answered this question and Obama didn't. Obama never said the word "Palin" in his response. He did nothing but praise Biden. McCain started with an attack on Biden. McCain actually answered the question better than Obama, but Obama still came off better because even when prompted to attack, he didn't.
How many Congressional Dems will he bring along with him?How do you mean?

Is it just me or did McCain look like a corpse?
Heartbeat away and all that, but I wonder what happens if John dies *before* the election. Would they postpone it, or let Sarah take over?
Some are worried about his ability to survive a first term; I'm worried about him stroking out by the weekend.
What would happen? Has a candidate ever croaked on the campaign trail?

"Like a corpse" sounds a little rough, but he surely didn't look comfortable all the time:
No, no, no. The truth is McCain said, at this evening's debate, that he was categorically proud of all the people who attend his rallies.
ETA: I believe McCain's exact quote was: "Let me just say categorically I'm proud of the people that come to our rallies."

True confessions haven’t been much in vogue during this presidential campaign, unless you count John Edwards’s belated acknowledgment of his extramarital affair -- an admission made, you may recall, long after the two-time Democratic contender had dropped out of the race. So, in the interest of spicing things up before tonight’s final debate between Barack Obama and John McCain, I’ve decided to bare my soul.
I’m skipping the debate. And I’m positively gleeful about it. ...
I don't think McCain did well in this debate, but let's be real here: it was pretty clear to me he wasn't including the people he characterized as "fringe" in the group he was proud of.
I have to agree there. This is getting really, really, petty.
Did anyone see the fox news poll about who won the debate? I'm curious because last time they had 80 percent of their viewers saying Mccain won the debate.
It's such a biased audience it's funny.
