The pic below shows the field in 1904. Yes, that must have taken billions to build. I can understand why the elite would want to bring back the Olympics to land those huge gubmint contracts.

Was just thinking about this......we all have heard that the sun would be blocked for years, but with all of our technology we cannot use the 747 water tanker and just drop water onto the Ash?? Would that not either thin the ash out or cause the ash to get to the ground quicker? I just think with all our technology we wont see the sun blocked out for long if an eruption would to occur...
