It definitely was. Not only did the FBI mishandle Salem horribly, but they also lost a fine agent in Nancy Floyd as well. It is infuriating to realize how much could've been prevented if real, accomplished agents like Floyd and John O'Neill had been allowed to follow their instincts.This particular case absolutely infuriates him. He's said on his show that this is, bar none, the worst handling of an informant in FBI history. Incompetent, yes. But it's not criminal.
