Seeing the pace of this thread, it seems to me that we've transitioned from a 24-hour news cycle to a 24-minute one. Fun times.

I now think this is indeed terrorism related to radical Islamists.

I think this from the total of what I have seen and read up to this point.

It is not a knee jerk thought merely because that page says the one brother's religion is Islam.

Looks like a sudden flurry of activity on CNN, they're reporting a smell of smoke, and a lot of very heavily armed guys cordoning off an area.

CNN are now delaying their signal to prevent viewers seeing what might be about to happen. It seems like they may have cornered the second guy.
 
Reports come in that dead brother Tamerlan has a youtube page "full of Islamic rhetoric". Trying to find confirmation.
 
Seems the brother is quite into islam alright. I think I was wrong on that one. Just speculating indeed.
