eta2: Why aren't there chocolate Draculas at Halloween? That would be cool.
We have them.
There's the do-it-yourself just-the-teeth mold.
And there's Carol's Candy Corner. (They come in their own caskets, but don't expose them to sunlight!)

Forget about the price of eggs! And forget about bird flu! There is no such thing!
From post 1,399 in the thread Corona Virus Conspiracy Theories:
"Forget about the price of eggs; your problem is finding enough neighbors to share the wealth with. The mass culling of 160 million birds—based on invisible particles assumed to be lethal—is not just insanity; it’s a direct assault on economic sovereignty and the nation’s ability to nourish its people and Make Them Healthy Again."

Bought 6 eggs this morning, M&S large organic free range, as usual, and they were down 50p to £3.50.

I'm sure that must mean something, to somebody...

They moved the standard egg display around so I couldn't find the ones I usually just grab and go. But the cheapest ones were a brand I'd never seen before, apparently a local brand. The shells are deep brown, which I've never gotten before. I haven't tried any yet, but I understand they look and taste the same as the standard ones.

Apparently the UK is one of the few countries that prefer brown eggs, it's simply what we buy when given a choice, no difference in taste or anything else. It's down to the breed of chicken

As Darat said, lately I've been preferring the darker brown eggs from Sam's. You're lucky that you even get a local brand. I'd love to support our local businesses by getting my eggs through them. We had a guy at work that sold them but I think he gave up on it.

No Step on Egg
How ‘Trump Take Egg’ captured the mood of an inflation-weary nation (FC, Feb 21, 2025)
Which came first: the up-for-grabs blame over inflation or the meme about it?
Either way, both have lately caused a stir on social media, where news about rising economic anxiety is now often yoked to three cheeky little words: Trump take egg.
One of the first major political memes to emerge on Bluesky in the Trump 2.0 era, “Trump take egg,” is a pithy, grammatically fraught way to assign ownership over a leading economic hardship. It can be found accompanying photos of empty store shelves, astronomically high prices, and signage about egg rationing—the kind of photos that haunted Biden’s entire inflation-ravaged presidency.
