Market Basket today. Prices same as last week. $6.99/dozen for large eggs. Still have plenty of Hillandale Farms medium eggs for $2.99. I got a dozen of those and made a nice egg salad.

I don't think Muskrat quite gets the idea that after someone is fired, you cannot "rescind" that action and just carry on. Those people are no longer on the payroll the second they are fired. DOGE cannot just go "Psych! Back to work!" The former employees join the huddled masses hunkered down in the suburbs (or preferably, on holiday in Europe). They need to be rehired through proper channels and processes, even if it is next day. Or better yet, they should join the lawsuits lining up to jail Musk for DOGE's and his illegalities.

Keep in mind that for many, maybe even most, Trump and Musk fans, the "anti-woke" battlecry was about NOT being called out on their bad behavior: they will always be pissed about being called murders, just because they are holding a bloody knife, standing above a stabbed corpse, and have been recorded on video stabbing the victim over and over:

Brussels Sprouts would be about the right size to dye and hide for an Easter Brussels Sprout Hunt. But being from Brussels, they be heavily tariffed, so you won't be able to afford them either.
