There is no bird flu! There is no virus! It's a conspiracy!

The antivaxxers are at it again:
William Wallace Welker on X, Feb 16, 2025
It is not a bird flu outbreak.
It is an outbreak of fraudulent testing machines that can imagine a virus into existence.
The machine says it found a virus that nobody can see and then people in white suits kiII a gazillion chickens.
No virus is kiIIing chickens.
And not just the antivaxxers:
Alex the Health Coach on X, Feb 15, 2025:
Just injection vitamin C in the damn animals and they'll be fine...
They make this so complicated

A local diner has a sign on their front door that all dishes with eggs will cost $1.00 more than the price listed on the menu.

Here is a thought as you know putting tariffs on things make them cheaper for the USA consumer so all Trump needs to do is whack a 95% tariff on eggs and eggs will be a dime a dozen.

Perimeters kill chickens.

Kevin Hassett on Trump's avian flu plan: "What we need to do is have better ways with bio-security and medication and so on to make sure that the perimeter doesn't have to kill the chickens. To have a better, smarter, perimeter... they're killing chickens to stop the spread, but chickens don't really fly"

Two birds one stone idea - put windmills around chicken farms - those things kill every bird flying near them; granted the chicken farmers will get cancer but hey you can't make an omelette without breaking some eggs.

Les add a bunch of 5G cell towers to the mix. That should help.

I'm trying hard to remember why I'm incensed about 80 cents for an egg considering how many hundreds of dollars I piss out the window on junk without the benefit of tasty nutrients.

Decent free-range eggs are around £4.50 a dozen in the uk. I bought some today. Fancy blue eggs and 'golden yolkers' and their like are around £8 per doz.

Did you notice the interviewer is trying desperately not to laugh at such rank lunacy. She isn't succeeding...
