Yep, regarding bill smith, I've wondered more than occasionally if he is actually a cloaked debunker. If so, he's perhaps so deep into his cover character that he's become lost in it.

If he isn't a hoax, that's a scary, scary thought. In either case I think he's mentally unwell.

He doesn't appear to suffer from cognitive dissonance while making self-contradictory statements. It would appear he's not even aware on that level. Not pretty.

The Big Announcement was Sheen asking for an interview with the President...in writing!

Asking for an interview is not news. Getting one could be news. At least not on the scale Alex was talking about. No, this is re writing history.

Denying such an interview in person is an easy way out for Obama- pessures of office etc. Denying a discussion with some senior government people will not be so easy. Denying an interview altogether may be impossible.

Is Bill Smith going to explain what he means by "arrested for maligning POTUS" or is he going to just cut and run like he does with every humiliating defeat he suffers?

Bush would never have dared risk challenging a Truther in court on a 9/11 matter. Who knows what might have come out under cross-examination or maybe an inconvenient subpoena ? No, Truthers were able to call the POTUS a murderer in print in those days with no fear of (legal) repercussions.

Obama is suppsedly a clean new page. I think that falsely ascribing words and deeds to the POTUS would probably be actionable in the courts. Not that it will happen for the same easons as before, especially with a top celebrity involved as the defendent. Wanna bet ?

This video shows exactly that he was going to be presenting the interview as a real story, not fictional.

I think the comments we see on youtube would be the comments on infowars if Jones were brave enough to allow comments.

Seriously, what was going through this man's head for him to think that a loser like Charlie Sheen asking for an interview with Obama would be "huge national news?"
