Early elections predictions

Who will win US presidential elections of 2024 ?

  • Total voters
    82
Go for knockout, make it objective. That's the best way to quash much of the argument for it being rigged. Of course, that would just prove it to some.

"300+ votes!!! Where did those come from?"

Followed by clips of talking heads saying that only a landslide can quash the claims of it being rigged. Alex Jones holding up alfaniner's post on his Zoom chat after Infowars was liquidated.

People severely overuse "landslide" now. The reason such a drastic image is used in the metaphor is because the metaphorical meaning is supposed to be only for drastic cases, not just any old ordinary election that isn't almost a tie. 1984 (525-13) was a landslide. 300-238 is not like that.

We know individual elections do not matter in the west.
It is important they happen, but if it is a coin toss there is no truth revealed about what the plebescite want.
It is the election that follows that counts, and particularly that it is predictable there will be an election, not the result of that election.
This election matters because the enemy everywhere but the west understands we are robust and determined to uphold western values and culture.
To hell with Russia China Iran Afghanistan and so on.

Let's face it, you guys, and, by extension, us guys, are ******. Utterly, utterly ******.

If Donald J Trump, with all that he comes with, is anywhere near the presidency of the USA, then democracy is dead in the USA. A working democracy requires an educated populace and an effective press corps. The USA has neither, which is why DJT can be a viable presidential candidate.

Please don't think I'm gloating. We had Boris. And we still have that ** ***** *** *********** **** Farridge, both of whom are somehow viewed as reasonable people by a scary amount of my countrymen.

I genuinely think that DJT being anywhere near the White House is an indication that we're passed the point of no return. There's no fixing US democracy.

What I see is this:

There is not much that can happen to change Trump's favourability either way.

There is not much that can happen to change Harris's favourability for the better.

There is a LOT that can happen to change Harris's favourability for the worse.

Your prediction is nonsense.
You got Starmer who promotes Islamism via a new hate law.
DJT opposes Islamism.
Think about what you really want.

This confuses me. I didn't make a prediction. Are you sure you read it right?

As I said, we have our issues. Our politics seem to be about 15-25 years behind the US's. I have no doubt our political system will be as ****** as yours within the next 20 years. This is a global thing, it's just the US pretty much always first in these sort of things.

DJT opposes Islamism.
Think about what you really want.

I didn't make statement about what I want. Seriously, go back and read it again. I don't think you read it right.

Although this does demonstrate part of the problem - the knee-jerk reaction of a lot of people when the US is criticised that it, that is, the US, is beyond criticism. This is normally coupled with a 'Yeah, well you suck too!', childlike response. This makes it impossible to fix and easier for bad actors to act, well, badly.

It is not America is it Trump. We have similar with Farage. What they have both done is told the stupid and disenfranchised what to think and got them involved in political debate parroting of lies.

But they, both DJT and Farridge are symptoms of a greater problem. That people who clearly have no interest in the good of the country and, indeed are extremely obviously not fit for office, are not dismissed out of hand, but rather are considered viable candidates, is a damning indictment of the state of both democracies.

From New Zealand by the way, I think Trump is irrelevant, but Kamala Harris is a DEI catastrophe.
Farage is not a DEI catastrophe as a side note.

I think the low lifes they attract have always been there however they previously didn't get involved in politics. I am not sure we are seeing a lack of democracy rather a consequence of democracy and giving idiots the vote.

I don't see it that way. I don't think you can label somewhere between 35-50% of the population as idiots and leave it at that.

With a reasonable press and an educated populace the number of 'idiots' should be swamped by those with reasonable views. The US press is not reasonable and large parts of the US populace - often those in the important 'swing-states' are not.

If I take a step back and look at the situation from afar, the fact that DJT is a presidential candidate is utterly, utterly ******* mental.

Do you do this for free?
Not sure what your question is.
I predict JD Vance will be the president in 2028.
I think he says Europe should control Russia going forward. I don't know, but Kamala Harris is a blithering idiot, everybody here knows but are hoisted by their anyone but Trump petard.

shouldn't you know for sure?

Hurricane looks like it will hit south of Tampa, where votes are mostly red.

Looks like Florida might be in play!!!!

Do you hate all black people or just black people who also happen to be women?
