Merged Due process in the US

It is if you stand far enough back. Individuals blur into groups, minorities to nothing. Generalization to bigotry to genocide.
"Kill 'em all and let God sort 'em out" springs to mind. Or when terrorists justify the killing of civilians because they supposedly bear responsibility for everything their country's leaders do by way of foreign policy simply by being citizens.

Also trumpkins: well wed love to have him back but they say they dont want to so i guess that settles it guys just do as they say
Err... I've yet to see the "They say they don't want to" part of that in evidence anywhere. It's implicit for the Trump Administration, sure, but not quite said, and not El Salvador so far as I've seen.

So just what is SCOTUS going to do about it if he fails to comply? Lock him up for contempt until they cough the guy up? Keep reissuing the order until the end of the universe? Or, most likely, clutch their pearls and fall onto their fainting couch?

That's what I meant, though. They just parrot the talking points like robots, even when doing so makes them contradict themselves.

Well, they could say that the CECOT deportation program is deeply flawed and unconstitutional if they can't bring back one guy wrongfully sent there, and order the program suspended until Garcia is back in the US...

...but that would require at least two of the Ridiculous Six to grow a spine.

Amazing that the USA can't get El Salvador to return a single USA resident wrongly imprisoned there, but a short distance away in Panama they have no trouble wanting to send in the troops to get what they want.
You're talking about him like he was a citizen, or a Permanent Resident, or here on some kind of Visa.

Let also not forget that he came here illegally and worked here illegally for years. He is no hero or poster boy for the asylum process

Let's puts your argument to a hypothetical test.
Let's puts? Are you talking about cleaning windows?
Imagine you lived in a city where a vote was held to determine whether to declare all churches within city limits to be Catholic, or to keep things as they are.?
Do you mean like Zoolinsky declaring that Russian Orthodox churches are now illegal or are you talking about the referendum in Luhansk and Donetsk to join the Russian Federation? I have the distinct impression that you are deliberately attempting to derail the thread.

That's not the point. The point is the rule of law. The "unitary executive" is acting like a dictator.

Meanwhile Jehovah's Witnesses are banned in Russia and face persecution. But not a word from you. And homosexuality is banned in Russia, but no word from you.

As it should be, along with Scientology and Evangelism and well, never mind.
and face persecution. But not a word from you.
If you break the law what word(s) do you think I ought to speak?
And homosexuality is banned in Russia,
Is that a fact?
but no word from you.
You just told me about it now. Give me some time to think about it. But I simply do not understand why my opinion on the subject is so important to you. I suggest that you form your own opinion and not care so much about what I think.

Regarding Abrego Garcia, at this stage it's all a flex. The Trump administration is showing that it can happily disregard court rulings.

They've chosen their case reasonably well, Abrego Garcia was in the country illegally and his permission to remain isn't absolutely watertight. They've also worked hard to spread the false narrative that all those sent to El Savador are dangerous gang members, or even if they've made a "slight mistake" very, very, bad men indeed. They have scope to portray anyone who is uneasy about all of this as dangerous leftist activists who are soft on crime and essentially pro-terrorist and that's what the media will broadcast.

The actual quote translates into "Kill them all. The lord shall know his own".

They really have, especially when you read up on the excuse for the police arresting him in the first place: Wearing a hoodie and a bulls shirt.

Of course it's a complete coincidence that the PGPD (edit: Prince George's Police Department, whom the officers who arrested him belonged to) had its leadership completely overhauled the following year, after a report showed that the entire department was steeped in racism :)

Let me be the first to congratulate you on pointing out a typographical error resulting from Autocorrect. This is an argumentative coup on your part from which I may never recover.

You know it wasn't a derail. I offered an example that directly addressed your argument that all votes magically change to support of the majority of ballots cast, specifically, that because Trump won the popular vote by a narrow margin, that means everyone who cast a ballot voted for Trump. You clearly can't defend your claim so you are attempting to change the subject to something else.

But what of it? If the Ukrainian people were to have a vote and the majority of them decided to ban the Russian branch of the Orthodox Church, would that mean that even the members of said Russian branch had voted to ban their subgroup of the Orthodox Church? That is, after all, the gist of your claim regarding Hercules56.

Speaking of due process . . .

A United States citizen was mistakenly looped into a Department of Homeland Security email that ordered her to self-deport from the U.S. “immediately.”

Nicole Micheroni, an immigration attorney and partner at the Massachusetts firm Cameron Micheroni & Silvia, was stunned by the official email Friday morning and initially believed it was intended for one of her clients.

“It took me a couple of minutes to realize it was sent to me instead of someone I represent,” Micheroni told the Boston Globe.

The notification was written simply in the subject line as “Notification of Termination of Parole” and did not state a client name or case number.

It has now materialized that the message was sent by mistake, the DHS confirmed. The message continued, “Do not attempt to remain in the United States—the federal government will find you."
Another one of this administration's "mistakes."

Make no mistake about it: if they can do it to her, they can do it to anyone. Even you, even me. These ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ corrupt people will "mistake" a U.S. citizen to El Salvador one day, count on it.

Given their reluctance to fix any such errors, perhaps the first such US citizens that can be deported to this El Salvadoran hell-hole should be Trump's cabinet, his Veep, all the assorted MAGA clown Republicans in Congress and the Senate...and Trump himself. Then let's see how fast they can't find them and have them repatriated.
