Bah, what's a Druid got to do with something as human-made and modern-day as a highway? Not much nature there.

What they really want there is a Cleric of Akadi, the goddess of Movement and Speed. (And Air Elementals, but that is only relevant if you're blessing an airport)

That's the sketchiest looking druid I've ever seen, by the way. He looks like a guy that should be scalping Blues Traveler tickets outside the Alliant Center.

Are the authorities finally realizing that true traffic safety comes from overt presence of enforcement agents causing people to look out and pay attention rather than hiding like a criminal to maximize fine revenue?

You know, they really just need to go whole hog, and get a fighter, a sorcerer, a druid and a bard. Then just have them patrol the road and fight anyone found not obeying road rules.
