I will be drinking skeptically wherever loyal Forumites / JREFers will be willing to spot me drinks. As those of you who hang in the chatroom know, Miss_Kitt and Himself have had a rough year and a half, with two(2) bouts of unemployment and the older child moving back in; a dead car; and braces on Beauty Girl's teeth. But, thanks to the kindness of friends and a lot of desperate pleading, I am happy to announce that I am coming to TAM. By myself. With very little spending money.

On the plus side, one drink and a glass of water will keep me going for hours. I'm a mega lightweight, so my generous friends need only be generous once a night!

Just let me know what's happening where, okay?

How about Skeptics in the Pub at the Silverado and Drinking Skeptically at the Del Mar? Sorry... ;-{

I think that's where you went wrong. Most people were already doing a "drinking skeptically" on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (after the skepchick party), Sunday and Monday night at the Del Mar lounge. Your competing event scheduled at the exact same time meant walking over to the other side of the casino to do more of the same.

In fact, I'd go so far as to say we did a continuous drinking skeptically which started on Tuesday around noon and ended on Monday the week after. Toby attended most of it.

Nothing wrong with drinking at TAM--skeptically or otherwise--that I can see. I met a lot of new folks at last year's event and look forward to this year's.
