How young do you think kids should be when they're learning about anal sex and how to safely choke your partner? How young should they be when they learn about sexual role-playing, spanking, and pony play?

Interesting that you go from 'sex and sexuality' to 'anal sex, how to safely choke your partner, sexual role-playing, spanking, and pony play'. Or do you think the basic education of sex and sexuality has to include those? When my mom explained the facts of life to me at age 12 back in the mid-60's when I had my first period, she didn't mention any of that. Nor did she tell me babies came from the cabbage patch.

 No. But that also doesn't make it okay for kids to be stuffing dollars into the undergarments of a half-naked adult.
Why do you think that someone else lying about the person being a drag queen would alter my opinion on whether or not it's okay for kids to be stuffing cash into an adults skivvies?

It might convince you that this is so vanishingly uncommon for drag performances that the only example turned up was a lie.

And yet you posted this image in a thread about drag queens. As if that was what it was portraying. Why would you do that?

I did not post it.

Emily's Cat referenced the image in support of her argument. Her not having been the one to literally post it is pretty damn irrelevant; it isn't supporting her argument like her reference to it is trying to do.

Listen, it's either hiding all things that reference sexuality (but not straight sexuality) from kids or you have to go into great detail on everything from anal to futanari. There is no such thing as context or broad strokes (another thing to be withheld from children knowing about).

While I don’t think it is necessary to teach your children everything about sex, I think parents should be comfortable discussing sex with them. I believe it is a far bigger mistake to say too little to them about sex than too much.

He wanted to see his children.

This is how the National Center for Transgender Equality describe drag.
it should be noted that drag is a performance. And while it is usually thought of as highly stylized it really isn't limited to that.

In addition to Emily's Cat's elaboration, consider the first defining of drag in your source:

"Drag is a type of entertainment where people dress up and perform, often in highly stylized ways."

Dress up and perform. You get that is so vague as to mean almost nothing, yeah? That's the thing lately, being vague and broad and wishy-washy with definitions, so that Billy Jack or John Wayne to can be described as doing drag by their definition. It really doesn't clear up nuances to go full bore meaningless.

That quote is not the definition - you are looking at the trees not the forest - it is part of the definition they use.

I said I wish I was wrong.
You are. You posted irrelevant nonsense as if it supported your prejudices. Either this was deliberate, in which case you were engaged in deliberate deception, or you merely parroted right-wing lies without bothering to verify them. Which was it?

Here is another guy I never heard of, James Esses.
He is more fulsome in his condemnation, so it stands to reason he is more wrong than Stella O'Malley.
If you mean he's a right-wing nutter who pushes his pricey "therapy" (he's unqualified) for children, then yes, he's another of the bigoted idiots you like to quote.
He's also find of silly political stunts and playing the victim card. You seem to like that.

a guy you never heard of you say
Esses is a nasty little ****. He profits off his "therapy" network and used his volunteering at Childlike (a child support phoneline) to try and convince children to engage with his methods.
He's also a general anti-LGBT bigot and proponent of "conversion" therapy.

I am heartened that Esses' case and views are being read here. Stella O'Malley is a typical heavy hitter, atheist and gravely concerned by repression of organ development in youth by pharmaceutical companies who gain life long patients.
She seems to have conflated drag shows with an anecdote that nitpicking members here have pounced on like greyhounds after the race.
Esses is new blood. Go at him.
What makes O'Malley a "heavy hitter"? Other than agreeing with your bigotry....
Your claims about "Big Pharma" are nothing more than the usual recycled conspiracy theories.
And you're still refusing to address her lies over Brand.
Pathetic.

Read more carefully. "Drag" is just a performance. Then they go on to describe a specific subtype- being a drag queen. This is consistent with my understanding. For instance, I've been "in drag" more than a couple times. But I'm not, nor have I ever been, a drag queen. That's also consistent with your and Robin's assertion that pantomime is a drag performance, as is the Python's schtick.

To really sledgehammer the point, there is a difference between being a shooter and a mass shooter. The latter is a subset of the former, but the broad former need not be the latter.

You quoted one line and said "...You get that is so vague as to mean almost nothing, yeah? ..." that's because you took that one line and reacted as if that was the defintion. The defintion they use is anything but vague.

Again, the definition of drag is very very short as they provide it. The extrapolation of a drag queen is more in depth. In fact, after the quoted part (with a brief mention on the origin of the theatrical origin of the term), they return to the idea of drag standalone only once more near the end. It's when they remind the reader not to assume genders, because drag is just a performance and not an identity.

Conversion therapy might be a good thread, discrete from the other threads.
The laws misfire when conflating gender identification with sexual attraction.
It never works with the latter.
