I don't think that this Danish TV miniseries was controversial at all. If it had any repercussions for anybody, I haven't heard about them. But don't tell DeSantis!

Give it time, dann. The negative repercussions will start to appear any day now with Danish youth suddenly becoming confused about their gender. Boys will start cutting off their willies and wearing stuffed bras, girls will start wearing underwear with socks in them and binding their breasts, and Danish life as you know it will cease to be. :eye-poppi

The overly broad, hastily written, easy to abuse law is definitionally correct, so it's got that going for it. That supposed to polish that turd somehow?

I don't think so. I think it was more of "Hey, that's a gigantic pile of *********... but at least it's not on my shoe" kind of comment. But I could be wrong. That's just how I read it.

Man, I’m a bad parent. My kids went to Drag Brunch, a Trixie Mattel concert, and saw Peter Pan live.

I remember watching Peter Pan on TV with Mary Martin as Peter...yeah, I'm old.
Somehow, I grew up heterosexual.

Pics or it didn’t happen!

We also took them to Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, but yeah it was probably Peter Pan that really messed them up.

They never really took to Monty Python, but they tolerated my watching it.

Let’s not forget Flip “Geraldine” Wilson and Jonathan “Maude Frickert” Winters!

ETA: And Max “Jethrine” Baer Jr.!

Congratulations on teaching your children that exaggerated caricatures of females are totally awesome and good! What use are females if you can't laugh at them, right?

After you loosen your grip on your pearls, let me tell you about the Jazz Brunch with the best fried chicken I’ve ever eaten. I mean if you’re trying to get posts moved to another thread . . .

ETA: you may want to revisit Peter Pan and I can highly recommend Trixie’s first album: Two Birds. I’d love to hear how each does what you claim above.

On the other hand they might be perfectly ordinary children who won't take away your bizarre interpretation of it.

Peter Pan? Oh no, you're teaching your children that boys are something to be laughed at.

My kids fourth birthday party was hosted by a female clown, so I was teaching my kids that women are clowns.

I'm glad we have our betters here to show us what politically I correct folk we are.

Yeah but they're not.

Yes they are.

Have a quick look at any definition of a dress and it will something like "a one-piece garment that covers the body and extends down over the thighs or legs". There are different types of dresses, some have their own name, for example a RC priest may wear a cassock dress/garment.

It is still a dress.

Seems reasonable.

Just don't tell a kilted Scotsman he's wearing a skirt... :duck:
