China is not Capitalist, as there are no real protections against State Appropriation of private assets, and no judiciary able to put limits on Stats Intervention.
Capitalism requires strong property rights.
Sure, some parts of the Chinese Economy are the result of enterprise, but it's not what brought wealth to the billion citizens: that was massive infrastructure and investment projects, and guided resettlement from the country to the cities.
