Does 'rape culture' accurately describe (many) societies?

Did the research. You don't know what it means do you?
Of course I do, I was the one who introduced the term, which you clearly haven't managed to understand.
And which you use to dodge other questions.

Agan it is only a fallacy if it was being used as a logical argument, in this case it isn't it is simply stating how democracy works. Your problem is with reality.

Looking in the round, Dutchman says porn is 'mainstream':
Porn as alternative for sex sounds er... mainstream enough, but sex as alternative for porn? Not so much, to me at least. A bit weird, even.
is 'reasonable':
To be clear, I consider this a reasonable line of thinking: "For lack of a consenting partner, sex is not available to me, so I'll grab some porn instead".
whilst sex as an alternative to porn is 'weird':
I consider this a weird line of thinking: "Porn is banned and therefore not available to me, so I'll grab someone for sex instead".

Which question have I dodged c?

What does CP mean c?

Have asked Gemini regarding:
The UK still produces a lot of "schoolgirl" themed CP videography. I know a few of those involved.
but refuses to help as it goes against their guidelines - though does state the following common meanings:

Medical: Cerebral Palsy—a group of neurological conditions that affect movement, muscle tone, and posture.
Fandom & Pop Culture: Couple or Character Pairing—internet slang (frequently used in anime, drama, and social media fandoms) used to describe a romantic pairing or "ship" between two characters or celebrities.
Gaming: Combat Points or Character Power—a numerical stat representing the overall strength or rating of a character in various video games.
Technology & Entertainment: Cyberpunk—a sci-fi genre subculture.
Legal / Internet Safety: An abbreviation for illegal child exploitation material.

ETA:
After a bit of coaxing, Gemini said:
In that context, "CP" refers to illegal child sexual exploitation and abuse material.
When paired with terms like "schoolgirl-themed" and "videography," it is referencing illicit media that sexualizes minors.

catsmate will no doubt clarify (given the above).

Dutchman appears to place much faith in the will of the people to bring about laws and enforcement to make them 'as they should be':
If the law and/or its enforcement are not as they should be, the people have means to change them, through their representatives. It's called democracy. And if the majority thinks they are fine as they are then that's the way it stays. Terms like "morally bankrupt" all sound fine and upstanding, but have no legal meaning.
Personally I am still, as I was before, of the opinion that pornography performed and produced by consenting adults should be legal and regulated.
Whilst democracy is perhaps the best system we have - it cannot and will never satisfactorily demonstrate what is right and what is not.

As Darat tried to explain upthread, argumentum ad populum is a fallacy when used to prove a fact is true, but it's literally an identity when used to show a position is popular. For a less fraught example, a statistic showing "lots of people think Star Wars is the best franchise ever" doesn't prove Star Wars is the best franchise ever but it does prove that Star Wars is popular.

A statistic showing "lots of people are fine with thus & such kind of porn" does in fact prove that lots of people are fine with thus & such kind of porn. An individual is, of course, free to say that they don't think lots of people should be fine with it. But when it comes to laws enacted by the mechanism of popular support...

An assertion without merit, since nobody was trying to do that.
Look what they said in response to accusations of moral bankruptcy and the inability of the FTC to impose crippling financial liabilities that it (Aylo) rightly owes its victims:
If the law and/or its enforcement are not as they should be, the people have means to change them, through their representatives.....
That clearly implies faith in democracy to put things right - to make things as they should be. The fact is is that most people are enjoying easy-access porn and won't be disinterested when it comes to a vote.

Dutchman is saying nothing substantive in respect of the rights and wrongs of porn.
