I don't have a strong theory on Epstein's suicide, but my guess is that he did himself in because he realized that he was both theoretically and literally screwed. Every moment new information came to light about his bad activities, and things could only get worse. Prison folks are traditionally pretty hard on his sort, and I don't think he had the kind of character that would take kindly to changing from the screwer to the screwee. Sure, there are other possibilities, most of them pretty far fetched. But imagining the situation Epstein was in, I suspect suicide was the wisest choice.

You might think you are being facetious but you cannot explain why the cctv cameras outside his cell door were conveniently disabled as of the time of his homi suicide and a couple of muppet prison guards were on duty, no doubt carefully selected for their laziness and incompetence. So in other words, you cannot possibly state with certainty that no-one snuck into his cell.
