In that five years, I ascended rapidly up the ladder to the point where I was responsible for hiring and firing aspiring lecturers. Why? Because I quite frankly knew what I was doing. Nobody is saying Epstein acted alone. He was charged with CONSPIRACY which by definition requires more than one person.

As far as the Royal Family goes, the last time I checked England is an island [checks Google maps again, yup, still is] so if you are rich and or famous and are a British subject there's a good chance you'll be invited to attend some sort of Royal function, and being British there is a 99.99% chance you will accept the invitation because, and I'm not sure if this is still true, but getting such an invitation is kind of a big deal for English people. I suspect that if you're famous enough and behave at these Royal galas that you have a good chance of being invited back for another one. Wealthy Americans are suckers for Royal invitations so they definitely show up.

So yes, I'm sure a lot of scumbags are personally acquainted with members of the British Royal Family.

It is worth noting, though that according to Wikipedia, Epstein's teaching job was at the Dalton School, which goes from K-12 grade, hired by a headmaster who quit the year he was hired; and even if he was at the high school level, I am not sure that a good BS artist could not manage at least for a while, which in his case was only two years before he was fired for poor performance. Of course he still might have been a good teacher who knew his subject in depth, but I would not be terribly surprised if it turned out he wasn't.
