Denmark set to withdraw Iraq troops
POSTED: 6:27 a.m. EST, February 21, 2007
COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) -- Denmark was expected to announce plans to begin withdrawing its troops from Iraq at a news conference on Wednesday, Danish media reported.
Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen has earlier said he hoped Denmark would be able to start scaling back its 460-troop contingent this year. He has not yet set a precise timetable.

I seem to recall that Afghanistan was considered by most countries to be a legitimate part of the War of Terrorism after 9/11, FWIW. Pity that it hasn't been followed up on - everyone's STILL playing "Where's Osama?" (only he isn't wearing a stripey shirt, which is sort of cheating).Ahh, I see they forgot to mention that at the same time Denmark is going to increase its number of troops in Afghanistan.![]()
I thought from your post's title that all Danish men had spontaneously turned homosexual.
*crosses Carlsberg Beer off of grocery list, just in case*
DR
You might be able to solve them by military means, but it would mean ruling the country with an iron fist and crushing any who oppose you. In short, being exactly like Saddam.
So, what's the preferred domestic brand among Beer loving Danes? Odds are I can find some in a store near me.Most beer loving Danes have done that long time ago![]()
None. Instead, they would secretely cross their southern border and buy German beer. So, what's the preferred domestic brand among Beer loving Danes?
I draw your attention to post #2 and #20. Where would we be without our "coalition?"

Shouldn't you be saying that Denmark abandons Iraq?
[dripping sarcasm]Works for me. There is that critical Anna Nicloe Smith trial to cover, protests in Gaza, lifestyles of the Rich and Famous Thai Coup Masters, the Baseball All Star Game, 24, and American Idol. There really isn't time for all this war stuff to interfere with the bread and circuses.[/dripping sarcasm]Yes, but that's only dead Iraqis. Much better to give up and have them slaughtered, since whomever does the slaughter then will surely not allow TV cameras, which means it won't be on the nightly news, which means that--as far as the chattering classes are concerned--the slaughter didn't happen.

How many troops do you think Mongolia, or Estonia contributed to the effort?
You also neglected to point out these interesting facts from your link:
As I said before; and then there was one.
