Denmark Abandons Bush

No evidence there of being a moron. Graduated from Yale and Harvard. I guess you have no evidence at all to back up your claim. You sir, are no critical thinker.

Well let's check out YOUR critical thinking skills. Please provide a list of things that Bush has done to further truth, justic and the American way. Now, put that list next to a list of things us "Bush-bashers" have compiled and we'll see which list is larger or affects more people.

I double-dog dare you.

(edited to add) and YOU sir didn't click on the little blue text in the link, did you?

Supposedly?

Shifts from bin Laden hunt evoke questions

Finally a response with some meat. Yes, this qualifies as evidence. It's not conclusive (they didn't actually get a response as to why the actions taken were taken, nor is it demonstrated that those teams were getting any closer to catching bin Landen when they left), but it counts as evidence.

Are you telling me that the war in Iraq was a worthwhile tangent to the hunt for Bin Laden (when we KNEW he was in Afghanistan)?

Did we know he was in Afghanistan when those people were pulled? The story certainly doesn't make that claim.

Why is invasion always the first choice? Even if we did invade Afghanistan what makes you think Bin Laden wouldn't simply go somewhere else much like he did when we wasted time and resources earmarked for Afghanistan on Iraq?

Emphasis mine. I presume you meant Pakistan where I bolded. Pakistan will not let our troops search for bin Laden on their soil. In order for them to do so, we'd have to invade Pakistan. Without them doing so, we have to rely completely on the Pakistanis, which 1) doesn't work so well and 2) having more people sitting accross the border in Afghanistan twiddling their thumbs doesn't help. And you haven't given any indication of how you think we possibly could get bin Laden, short of an invasion, if he is in Pakistan. So invasion isn't the first choice, it's the ONLY choice if catching bin Laden is really the number 1 priority.

Now, as to why bin Laden can't jump ship from Pakistan just as easily, I would have thought the answer would be obvious. Waziristan and the other northwest provinces border Afghanistan, and they are the home of the Taliban. There is considerable terrorist-support infrastructure and many allies there, and getting there from Afghanistan was easy. The next-closest terrorist-friendly country is Iran, which does not border the northwest provinces and never was a real supporter of the Taliban. He cannot get there easily from the northwest provinces, and he cannot rely on finding safe haven if he does get there.

You clearly arn't a critical thinker either.

That's a complement comming from you.

Such hyperbole has no place in a forum for critical thinking.

Then why are you posting here? Everything you say is hyperbole.

I, however, am quite justified in saying that Bush bashers suffer from BDS- Bush derangement syndrome.

You clearly arn't a critical thinker. Such hyperbole has no place in a forum for critical thinking.

The definition for deranged is..."To upset the normal condition or functioning of". Clearly, I have proven time and again on this forum that their logical thinking skills have been "upset".

Maybe in your own deranged an upset mind. You've yet to demonstrate such to the rest of us. You clearly aren't a critical thinker. Such hyperbole has no place in a forum for critical thinking.

I have to seriously wonder if the chronic Bush bashers on this critical thinking forum are actually Sylvia Browne or Uri Geller plants, placed here to embarrass James Randi and dilute his effectiveness in exposing charlatans and frauds. The illogical Bush bashing is that melodramatic.

Seriously, the above is lamer than a church sermon. You think that by adopting the language and attitude of (what you think is) a skeptic, that you'll somehow make us think that you're one. You're fooling no-one dude, and your attempt is pathetic. You clearly aren't a critical thinker. The fact of the matter is that you're demonstrably wrong, the country has turned it's back on you and your president is a corrupt piece of trash that has been a total disaster for this country. I was once a Bush supporter like yourself, the difference is that I am actually a critical thinker and recognized the disaster happening before our eyes. Your labeling any criticism (I thought you were a critical thinker?) as "bush bashing" or "BDS" is a defense tactic to keep from questioning your opinions and a transparent attempt to demonize anyone who dares to question your dear leader. Like I said, you're fooling no-one. But it's amusing to watch you try. Please continue.

Oh please, spare me the wild-eyed accusations towards Bush.. If anyone needs to look for proof of BDS, it can be found in the above statement.

I was once a Bush supporter like yourself, the difference is that I am actually a critical thinker and recognized the disaster happening before our eyes.

I seriously doubt that you ever were a Bush supporter, but I would like to hear your evidence of a "corrupt piece of trash" and a "total disaster". Please keep in mind that I have debunked nearly every complaint that the Bush bashers have made over on the "Chimpresident library" thread. Obviously, my facts and logic were too much reality for the BDS afflicted to handle, since so few challenged my fact-based logic. Those that did challenge failed to successfully debunk my factual assertions.

Let's see, under Bush, unemployment is at all-time lows, household net worth is at all time highs, inflation is tame, the economy is booming, major parts of the stock market recently reached all-time highs.. Some disaster...only in the minds of the illogical Bush bashers.. From Investors Business Daily..
-----------
"Tucked deep within the Federal Reserve Board's trove of statistics lies an innocent-sounding series called "net worth of households." It may sound boring, but it says a lot about how we're doing, as a nation and as individuals.

And new data out last week show we're doing pretty well. In the fourth quarter of 2006, total net worth - that is, everything people own minus what they owe - jumped 7.4% to $55.63 trillion. We've added as much wealth in the last decade as we did in our nation's first 220 years. It's an amazing boom - all the more so because hardly anyone talks about it.

Let that sink in for a moment. Fifty-six trillion dollars is roughly four times the size of our economy, and nearly a quarter bigger than the size of the entire world economy. Unemployment, at just 4.5%, is way below its long-term average. Real incomes are rising strongly. Inflation remains tame. Company profits - a measure of how efficient businesses are at using scarce resources - are at all-time highs. And, in addition to being richer, we live longer, healthier lives than ever.

Even people on the lowest rungs of the economic ladder have far more than they did a decade ago. "

Facts are a stubborn thing, but Bush bashers are even more stubborn in ignoring them.
