I think this is because they can't seem to understand the difference between a simulation and a CGI rendering program. They seem to think that if their Xbox 360 can render a building collapsing then we should have no problem getting a simulation of the WTC collapse.
 
5 minutes of my life I won't get back. But, the comedic value might outweigh the complete waste of time.

But, the nintendo reference made me laugh!!!

Perhaps they should be directed towards the assorted explanations for why no computer game yet have fully destroyable terrain.
That would be a starting point.

When I had just 1 post, I would have come to the same conclusion, that that video can't be serious. Experience now tells me that while it is a joke, it is not one the poster of the video intended.
