The Vietnam War NEWS coverage was less compromised than the coverage of Desert Storm and the more recent Iraq war.

Back in the 60's and 70's, the NEWS divisions were the prestige operations for the networks and profit was a secondary concern.

That is no longer the case, and tragically, the consequences are all too obvious.

Uh well it's pretty clear isn't it? If for example floor 20 needs to get to the ground and floors 19 through 1 are in the way there can't be a free fall.

But if floors 1 through 19 are conveniently set to fall due to explosives then floor 20 can drop in free fall without hitting the others because they have a head start already.

What I said about the war coverage is my experienced opinion.

I never said the Vietnam War coverage was great. Just better.

I also never spoke specifically about war profiteering and censorship..you did.

Nothing is long gone. Your ideas on news reporting are full of failed opinions. I talked to people (people who were back at home) during desert storm and watched the WAR on TV on CNN while I was in SCUD attacks with debris raining down. Total nonsense. I emailed home constantly during the Balkan war when I worked for NATO. It is instant news now, from people at the front or in the control centers and command posts. If you want to cover up something now, you need to be the only person in on the plan, if not, you can't. There is proof of this all around if you could find evidence.

Not saying the news is better now, because you are a prime example of not being about to figure out an event due to the lies and noise made by the idiots in 911 truth.

The coverage of the Vietnam war was not this complete or accurate or instantaneous. The only difference this time is that the corporate whore media do not cover anti-war demonstrations.
