Thanks. That was educational. I think that the second definition there is the relevant one, not the one about hobos. I've actually seen these but I didn't know there was a word for them.

I think a million dollars buys an awful lot of antbiotics and the occasional gyno appointment, lab test, etc. I'd imagine she's really quite safe. On the other hand, I don't think we'd have anything in common to talk about before, during, or after.

That supposes that she cares enough about her health to put her wealth to such use. As a general rule, druggies such as her don't tend to care much about their health. Indeed, such drug use is usually rather closely tied to a lack of concern for one's health.

And not all sexually-transmitted diseases are curable, no matter how much wealth one might have to throw at them.

Even Courtney Love can still manage to look relatively human after spending ample time at a hair stylist. Despite the fact that she must have a liver the size of Nova Scotia.

Singer Amy Winehouse has been staying on the down-low and is supposedly straightening up her act and staying away from drugs and alcohol. One minor problem, the singer went in to get her decaying teeth fixed and now she needs pain pills.

Britain’s The Sun newspaper quoted a source saying, “Amy’s teeth were in a pretty gross state. They were brown and stained and needed major work on them and she was determined to get them back to their sparkling best. It’s all major work and has left her in almost constant pain, but she thinks the sacrifice is worth it. She’s been given some very strong drugs to cope with the pain.”
