The Daily Show is hosting the Rally to Restore Sanity on Oct 30th in DC. Among other recommended signs to display they have suggested "9/11 Was an Outside Job".
 
I just watched the episode on TV. :rule10 it was funny! And spot on!

NYCCAN'T were saying they were going to air their "Building What" ad during the Daily Show. Nice to see Jon Stewart going on the record about truthers. :thumbsup:

He also compared truthers to birthers. :D

BTW-Colbert's spot was pretty funny. March to Keep Fear Alive. Maybe I'll go to that one with a poster of Alex Jones & Glenn Beck saying "Fear has never been so profitable".

I am so jealous of that audience. I went to a taping in early August. I would have loved to have been at that one.

If anyone else is going we should post it here and have a JREF group....make some cheap t shirts or something. I will say up front though I can't guarantee I am going.

I like whenever celebrities mention 9/11 truth, especially when it’s supposedly been dead for years now. I really liked it when Rescue Me incorporated it into the show. As far as 9/11 truth goes any publicity is good publicity. Leibowitz should have Daniel Sunjata on the show some time and have a real discussion about 9/11. It’s good that Leibowitz can laugh about 9/11 these days instead of shake and cry. It wasn’t always that way. Funny man.

Give it up already...you guys are a joke...they are MAKING FUN OF YOU. YOU WILL NEVER, EVER be taken seriously. YOU HAD YOUR MOMENT...it was 2006.

You are right though, given the truth movement is almost non existent, any attention is better then no attention...isn't it.

Well my my you sound angry. Does it really bother you that much that 9/11 conspiracy is still a topic on mainstream TV in 2010? Who would have thunk it back in 2006? Did you?

No doesn't bother me in the slightest. As a matter of fact, I would pay good money to watch Jon Stewart hang the retards of the truth movement out to dry every night of the week for the next 10 years.

I am just telling you that you can give up with this false bravado, that any publicity is good publicity...no it isn't. It might be for artists, actors, etc... but not for a group that wants their cause to be taken seriously...mockery is the coffin nail...and your group has had the best of the best (south park, the onion, Bill Maher, now Jon Stewart) make fun of you.

A topic? Its a topic of ridicule. Main stream media, when it does mention the 911 conspiracies, is making fun of them for the most part and certainly in the shows mentioned in this thread.

Do you suppose also that the news coverage of the listeria contamination of Maple Leaf foods products was good publicity for the company?

And I would just like to know why someone like you would get so giddy about Leibowitz putting down 9/11 truth in 2010. Why bother right? Why does the Onion, why does Maher bother? What does Leibowitz know about 9/11 anyway? Except that it made him cry.

He’s a funny guy. If he thinks so little of truthers you need to wonder what he would think of people who spend their life obsessing about them.
