Cruz steps into the ring...

In a way, I would enjoy seeing a Republican who acts like a rabidly fringe-right candidate get elected then say "Haha, not only was I actually liberal the whole time, but I'm even gay!"

I wonder how much effort that would take with the current American voters.

He's got two kids. Could be bi I guess. I'll be honest, he does set off my gaydar.
Don't know about Ted Haggard, but Cruz really does remind me of Joseph McCarthy. And, yeah, sounds like he is always playing the role of Ted Cruz.

Ted needs to work on a few problems.

  • Lacks spontaneity, humor, seems phony
  • Resembles Joe McCarthy
  • Neither buff nor handsome
  • Looks like he is sneering a lot of the time.
  • The cocked head gives an impression of, "Oh Yeah?" Argumentative.
  • Pictures of him trying to smile don't show any teeth
  • Denies certain facts (AGW for one) which will eventually bite him
  • Body language is confusing
  • Lacks workable solutions to major problems
  • Speaks in platitudes and hyperbole

Don't worry, Ratatoskr, Sheriff Arpaio will mount a years long investigation to clear up the whole mess. Better hope Cruz doesn't release his long-firm certificate of live birth as a pdf.
