And of course this directly contradicts another point that twoofers harp on about. They complain that we were fed the "story" that it was AQ almost immediately following the attacks, and ask how we could have known so soon. Now we have someone who didn't just jump to an automatic conclusion about who did it, and somehow that's suspicious too.
You just can't win with these guys.

So true, it was the same day, who could say anything "official" that night? There are legal issues too. You have to watch what you say when you do not know what happen.

And concerning the Video you posted: As pointed out, it's from 2001 and very shortly after the attacks. So it really proves nothing but the confusion at this time.

The guy is part of the intelligence commitee and he can't just come out and say what the CIA has told him. He was trying to be proffessional and non-speculative. Ofcourse the 9-11 Deniers will jump on this as "John Edwards is a 9-11 Truther!!!!".
On the other hand, if John Edwards had said "yes, it was definately Bin Laden, we know this for sure", the 9-11 Deniers would say "see!! John Edwards is part of the conspiracy!!"

Oliver- when is the "hard evidence" quote from? Does that still stand today? What about Bin Laden's video discussing the attacks and his own predictions of how much of the towers would collapse? What about the connections between the 9-11 hijackers and Afghanistan?
Bin Laden was in charge of Al Qaeda..and Al Qaeda is responsible for 9-11. That is beyond all reasonable doubt.

John Edwards said he didn't know because he didn't want to be wrong or accused of lying. Never know whats going too come out.
Relying upon the FEMA report is even more of a Joke than relying upon the NIST Report. The FBI didn't Identify the supposed terrorists because there wasn't DNA evidence. CIA made assumptions based upon circumstantial evidence or, better yet, those responsible were already determined as of 9-10.
As I'm extremely familiar with how the CIA functions they're by far the most powerful and secretive organization in the world. Any field agent, up to and including the highest ranking member of the CIA, can take any action or break any law and doesn't have to report too his superior, unless he deems it vital to national security. As I spent almost two years writing reports on the CIA during College, I know their capabilities. This is the very reason I find many Conspiracy's to be very feasible considering the freedom and resources of the CIA. Do not be fooled the Federal Government "elected officials" don't hold a candle to the CIA when taking a measurement of Power.

I did not know you were friends with Tim McVeigh. The only NAZI tactics I have see are those used by 9/11 truth and other neoNAZIs in the 9/11 truth movement. I have never seen people who act like the 9/11 truth movement members in the military. Most military people represent a very diversified background that was refreshing to work with everyday for 28 years. Unlike the lies of the truth movement, my bosses, and my co workers did not exhibit the insanity, lack of knowledge, and lack of judgment displayed daily by member of 9/11 truth.

Tell you what, OldSchool. Since you obviously never served in the military, and did not get even the most rudimentary instruction on the handling of classified material, I will give you the simple Basic Combat Training version of what you saw in that clip.
Divulging classified information regarding what you know about an enemy can aid the enemy. It is to your advantage that the enemy not know that you know who and where he is. Knowing that you know his identity and location allows him to re-locate, conceal his identity or interfere with your gathering further intelligence.
Some intelligence can be traced back to a particular source. If, for instance, you anounce that you know I stole a five-hundred-pound bomb, and I know of only one person who knows that I stole it, I would then know that I need to whack the snitch, thus depriving you of that source of information on my activities.
John Edwards, in the Walters interview, behaved exactly as any soldier in the world would expect him to behave.
Snotty, self-important twoofers with no military credentials expect him to tell them what they want to know, consequences be damned.
Did you even bother to read any of the reports of the Valerie Plame outing? Do you understand why someone needs to go to jail over this? Do you know what a "brass plate" operation is, and why it is a useful intelligence-gathering tool? Do you even care?
And stop throwing that "Nazi" label at those who stand against the twoofers and point out how psychotic some of the "evidence" you all dredge up seems to be. That is a Nazi tactic. You twoofers are trying to "otherize" those who disagree with you.
