Cop grabs reporter's balls at Biden event

I am quick to get all indignant on the police for behaving inappropriately, but this is another one of those things that should get filed in the "you're not helping the cause" folder.

The "journalist" was obviously attempting to irritate the police into a "gotcha" moment. What hard hitting news angle was he being prevented from covering at any rate?

As for the alleged fondling I just don't believe it. The subject of the film has been reacting somewhat indignant the entire time. Were he to actually be molested, I am sure his volume (figuratively speaking) would have gone to 10. Instead he weakly hints at being grabbed in the crotch. It just doesn't pass the sniff test for me.

I will say the singing made me cackle with delight. Probably more laughing "at", than laughing "with" though.

He refused to answer whjen the cops asked him whether he had any weapons or needles. They had to pat him down thoroughly before they put him in the squad car.

I have done some force protection and detainee operations training work, and I can assure you that it does not take an awful lot of creativity to hide all manner of dangerous objects in one's headgear or underwear. I once mangaed to get a small Achuellian handaxe that I had knapped out of a piece of jasper into a company command center under a khefia.

If you push the cops to the point that they have to arrest you, don't get all prissy about their normal safety procedures.

"Don't make me half-assedly claim you grabbed my balls, bro!"

I didn't see any ball grabbing. I saw a jackass who was looking for trouble and found it.

Not sure why everyone is on RidleyReport's case. Maybe he was looking for trouble, but the police were being jerks too. Is there some political subtext I am missing?

No, they were doing their job, which was to keep jackasses off the property.

No, someone goes to a private event on private property and does not cooperate when asked to leave. They then claim sexual assault when searched for weapons.

Whoopee.

Ummmm....what?

You posted a video of some clown being arrested. People reacted correctly. This upsets you?

The comments were directed to the video.

From what he says in the OP, and given the same youtube and JREF user IDs, he is the clown.

Caught on tape...police arrest me at vice-presidential event for...well I'm not 100% sure.

Well, you get a point for driving me to your video. You got a hit off of me. But you lose the point because of the laughter the video generated. Too funny.

I'm interested in what Ridley considers to be the minimum acceptable speed for departing a property. He says he's leaving at one mile per hour (though I assume he's only estimating). Would 3/4 miler per hour have been sufficient? 1/2 mile per hour?

I'm further interested in how Ridley thinks the courts would view his self-determined acceptable minimum.

Don't forget "screamed like a schoolgirl when patted down".

I only saw responsible and predictable police behavior. This should be a police training video on how to reasonably deal with these types of clowns.

There were so many chances to avoid arrest in this video. I wish we could see the video of the future court appearances to continue the laugh fest.

Journalism! Ha!

its like annoying a bear and when the bear graps your balls cry loud out, oh loook this evil bear, somebody help me...

If it were me, I'd have affected a British accent and said "Come and see the violence inherent in the system, help help I'm being repressed!"

So RidelyReport, will you be making a civil complaint against these folks? A criminal complaint? Like OftenMrunderstood, I'd love to see the jury's faces as they watched your video being entered into evidence.
