Woah, must be a good aim.

LOL! Give those cops a medal and a raise!

Breach removed.

The police were 100% professional and deserve our applause.

As to the "grabbing of the balls" accusation? Well, I didn't see anything.

And to top it all off, he has to pay to get his car out of the impound lot. Sweet justice!

Well we didn't see any ball grabbing on the video, so I'm going to have to make assumptions based on what I've seen of the OP wrt to honesty.

"But officer, I'm trying to leave"...

"But officer, I'm trying to leave"...

The "man" in the video is one of those people who go looking for trouble, then scream like little girls when they find it.

Caught on tape...police arrest me at vice-presidential event for...well I'm not 100% sure.

A dummy who acts like a jerk gets arrested.

You have been informed you need to leave and that you are not welcome

"I'm leaving at one mile per hour"

He is informed he is tressspassing and keeps leaving slowly, he is asked for his ID and gets stupid, and doesn't leave or cooperate

"I am trying to leave" , which is why he backs up slowly.

He is searched for weapons and then screams, what a dummy.

A douche bag for claiming sexual assault.

Exactly. Nicely put.

Look at it this way. You will get no sympathy here. The owners or lease holders or public officials given authority over a property have the right to forbid video taping anything on that property. You were wrong. Everything in the linked video is a textbook example of what not to do in dealing with the police.

They had every right to suspect that you might be a raving lunatic who posed a threat to the VP.

Had you handed your business card to anyone who had seen your YouTube channel, they would have had probable cause to arrest you when you first resisted being told to leave.

I can see why the police didn't delete your video. You did them a favor by making it easy to confirm that you were acting as they describe. By putting it up on YT, you have taken a dump in your own mess kit.

That depends, If it was open to the general public, say, without tickets rewuired, then taping is OK. It has to do with rights of expression vs assumption of privacy. There is no assumption of privacy in public, like on the street, park, or at the beach. There are some restrictions at things like baseball parks.

So from the OP, we don't know whether there were restrictions on taping.

Oh, the humanity! I can't believe this didn't replace the Joplin tornado as the #1 news story.

I've been in all kinds of situations where I might have been arrested had I acted like a jerk. But, I'm not a dumbass so I didn't and I didn't.

Not sure why everyone is on RidleyReport's case. Maybe he was looking for trouble, but the police were being jerks too. Is there some political subtext I am missing?

No. This was private property where apparently the VP was located. If he had just left there would have been no problem.

The reason he got arrested was for being a douche. He expected them to give their names, rank, and badge number...yet when they asked 10 times for his name, he balked. Sure fire way to win the bracelets!

Had this "reporter" (dude with 4:3 vhs cam) not been a douche, he would have drove home. One cop was a Sgt. and the other a Detective, they weren't really wanting to have to work that day, they were there for the free donuts and catered lunch.

I nominate this guy for a stundie!
