Bill's just happy he's spewing his petulant crap on an internet forum. If one of my kids just "wouldn't shut up" about something he just didn't know anything about to the point of exasperation, I'd just send him to bed.

Dealing with Bill is always, ah, an experience. Frequently, his idiocy makes me laugh. Other times, I close my eyes, shake my head, and am overcome by deep pessimism for the future of humanity. Occasionally, however, I feel as though I have been bewitched by an evil sorcerer, who wants me to transport me to a reality that is radically different from the one I inhabit.

Now, regarding Bill's latest claim...

Am I right in thinking that posts 1356 and 1357 have very little in common? Am I missing something really big here?

Bill took his usual battering this morning. It might be suggested that he came up with this mad observation about the alikeness of two rather dissimilar posts to avoid responding to some pretty heavy body-punches. Such a suggestion, however, implies that some form of rationality underlies Bill's antics, and must therefore be ruled out.

Um...actually we didn't "spot" it because you REFERENCED THE WRONG POSTS!

Besides any superficial similarities....please don't ever compare one of your luny, devoid of evidence, analysis, and understanding posts with any of mine....

I am the injured party in this. You copied the style of my post pretty directly. Anybody can check that out by looking back just a few posts to where I showed a comparison.

I'm going to press on with this, although I'm getting a sneaking suspicion. When a meek little man suddenly writes a fiery note to his mother-in-law calling her an ape-faced dyke, he may be venting long pent-up emotions, or he may just have a snootful of bourbon. We're proceeding on the assumption that you actually see similarities between posts #1356 and 1357. We don't have any knowledge of what substances you may have recently consumed.

Let us agree that the two posts are not alike. In your explanation, you refer to one of your posts and one of Newton's. But in your post #1359, where your bizarre observation first appeared, you wondered if Finewine noticed the (nonexistent) similarities.

If you're drunk or stoned, we can forget the whole thing. If you want to insist that you were sober when you wrote post #1359, please explain what you're talking about.

Bill, I--finewine--wrote post #1357. That post is not similar to post #1356. You asked if I--finewine--noticed that my post and post #1356 were alike. I did not notice because they are not alike, Bill. They are, well, different. Now, you seem to be complaining that Newton's post was similar to one of yours. Where do I--finewine--fit into this picture? If you did not mean post #1357, if I do not fit into the picture at all, why did you mention me in the first place?

I wrote a very similar post to newton3376 a year ago.

I give newton3376 full rights to copy that style of posting.

I deny that same right to bill smith.

I'm going to sue BS for damages now. Anyone know a lawyer? LashL?
 
I enjoy poking fun at Bill because his clownish advocacy of evil nonsense merits ridicule. As he has run away, it's time to wrap up this exercise.

Bill apparently decided there was a similarity between his post #1338 and Newton's post #1354. For reasons that can't even be guessed at, he chose to ask if I--finewine--noticed that my post #1357 and Newton's post #1356 were alike.

Gradually, we have learned that he believes his occasional use of a parenthetical sigh entitles him to suggest that anyone else who uses one is infringing on his intellectual copyright. That, of course, is the most innocent of his delusions.

To summarize, he screwed up the post numbers (unless he really did dream that posts #1356 and 1357 were alike--who knows?), failed to respond when asked if he was sticking to the numbers he originally gave, and couldn't bring himself to acknowledge that he got something wrong.

As they say, style is the man.

Actually I would never copy anyone elses style.....I often write several periods when I post...

And saying "sigh" is hardly something that is new to me...especially when dealing with truthers.

When I posted you were the furthest thing from my mind...
