Continuation Part 20: Amanda Knox/Raffaele Sollecito

If Vixen didn't have inflamed language she would have nothing. It's been more than 8 years since the original horrible events, and Vixen sees no problem with chucking this into a ever-expanding list of ludicrous incriminating claims:

and the stolen €300 rent no doubt has a druggie connection

Never any evidence, just a series of deceptive questions.

Secondly, Amanda did not tell Filomena about the break-in until Filomena rang HER, for the second time, after an unanswered call

The supposed 12:20 unanswered call is something I wonder about. The phone logs showed the phones were connected to each other for over a minute, tied for the longest call they had together that day.

Of course that's possible.

It's also possible little green men did it. ....or maybe it was Mignini.
Curiously that was the theory of what the luminaries of Friends of Amanda, a certain Joe Starr.
Apparently Mignini sent Guede round to kill Knox, unfortunately she was out and he killed Kercher instead. Something to do with payback for the CIA. I never quite understood it myself.

None of us has any standing in this case.

My only goal is to point out to Knox that there is plenty of dynamite lying around that she could use if she ever chose to break her silence.
I certainly wouldn't bother trying to convince Friends of Amanda of anything. They are and always have been entirely irrelevant. Their only contribution was to lull Knox into a false sense of security that her account of that evening had the slightest shred of credibility.

What's it like to be totally delusional?

Actually it was me.

One shoe was yours, one shoe was mine. Like QG reminds us, anything is possible!

This post makes no sense.

If only for this non sequitor - FOA are irrelevant, yet have lulled Knox into a false sense of security which sounds like you're now making a case for relevance if only as the negative variety!

You have also successfully reversed some sort of burden here - it is not up to an accused to provide something akin to "her account of that evening." It is up to those who would accuse to provide a timeline that proves something about her participation.

How many times does that point need to be made?

Perhaps there's something that Mignini is not telling us? Perhaps there's something that Napoleoni is not telling us? Perhaps there's something that Ficara is not telling us? Perhaps there's something that Massei is not telling us? Perhaps there's something that Andrea Vogt is not telling us? Perhaps there's something that Former UK PM John Major is not telling us? Perhaps there's something that Comodi is not telling us?

This post makes no sense.

Fair enough, Friends of Amanda were only relevant to the extent with a callous disregard to Knox's future well-being they pretended that her account of that evening had any credibility.
Aside from that they have been completely irrelevant.
Happy now?

In looking over the cell phone logs I believe the 12:20 call from Filomena was answered and might have took place at Raffs. This would be consistent with the cell antenna used both at Raffs and contrasted with the different one that served all the calls at the cottage. It could be the call Amanda remembers as being Filomena asking her if she is yet at the apartment. It makes no sense for that to be the 12:12 call because this was several seconds after she just got off the phone with Filomena. I believe the short 12:12 call was possibly a busy signal that went to voicemail while Amanda was calling Meredith or went otherwise unnoticed while they were getting ready to leave Raffs.

Anyone with anything to add?

I give up. I can't take it any more. The pressure is too much! I killed Meredith. Yes, I was seen driving my DeLorean that morning in Seattle. But you know.

Whilst it is true Amanda involved her roommates in the sleazy world of serious organised crime by sleeping with drug dealers and bringing home characters such as Daniele, I can see why the investigation limited itself to the immediate crime.

Kokomani was tragi-comical in his heavy disguise, and subverted testimony (=omerta). He knew Rudy from having worked at the same farm (and no doubt meeting for local drug deals). That doesn't mean to say he or Shaky and chums were necessarily involved in the Kercher murder. The Ndragheta whose patch it was, no doubt wanted to stick their noses in to discover whether any of their hoodlums were involved. I dare say, they did as much intelligence gathering as the police.

To the extent Rudy Amanda and Raff indulged in some adulterated mind-bending drugs that night, and the stolen €300 rent no doubt has a druggie connection, (both Raff and Amanda vowed to give up drugs after the murder), it could be chasing wild geese to speculate anyone else was there.

Could you tell us who in the cottage was sleeping with a drug supplier, and helped him with looking after his drugs whilst he was away?

Could you tell us who's boyfriend was known to Guede and brought him into contact with the housemates?

This is all I can find by Richard Owen during those early days. No star-shaped print,

Richard Owen in Perugia, Patrick Foster and Rajeev Syal

The flatmate of Meredith Kercher, the British student who was murdered in the Italian town of Perugia, broke down and confessed to being involved with two men in her death, it emerged yesterday.
Detectives said that Amanda Knox, 20, an American student who had the bedroom next to Miss Kercher, confessed to a criminal act. Ms Knox’s boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, 23, from Bari, southern Italy, and Patrick Diya Lumumba, 37, of Perugia, are also being held.
Detectives said that they believed that Ms Kercher may have been killed after refusing to take part in a violent orgy. Police have said that they now consider the case to be cut and dried.
The body of Ms Kercher, 21, from Coulsdon, South London, was discovered last Friday under a duvet in her bedroom at the house she shared with Ms Knox. She was partially clothed and her throat had been cut, it is believed, with a penknife.

Violent orgy. Penknife not large kitchen knife.

If in fact the police told Owen of the star-shaped print wouldn't that be totally unprofessional of both the police in telling and Owen in writing this important clue?

Fascinating!! Please expand.

The druggie connection: Hekuran Kokomani, Federico Martini

Micheli examined the evidence of Hekuran Kokomani. Micheli says the testimony is garbled, the dates and times makes no sense. However, that Hekuran Kokomani WAS in the vicinity of the cottage on both 31st October 2007 and 1st November 2007 is well established.

When Kokomani gave his statement, the details which he gave of the breakdown of the car, the tow truck and the people involved were unknown by anyone else. Therefore, Micheli reasons, he must have witnessed the breakdown in Via della Pergola. The same breakdown was also seen by Allessandra Formica shortly after a man of North African appearance - not Rudy - collided with her boyfriend.

This places Hekuran Kokomani outside the cottage at or around the time of Meredith’s murder and he in turn places Raffaele Sollecito, Amanda Knox and Rudy Guede together outside the cottage at the same time.

Kokomni is a known member of an organised criminal Albanian gang. He returned to Albania shortly after the murder and returned with an attorney to Perugia police station voluntarily three weeks later. Mignini considered him a key eye witness. Kokomani was said to be a heavy drinker and last heard of, a terminal alcoholic.

22:00 to 22:30 Mez is either dead or dying. A breakdown truck arrives for a broken down car containing a family of three, a man, woman and child.
‘Superwitness’, Hekuran Kokomani, arrives by car at the rubbish bins area, a short way down the road from the cottage. Kokomani punches Raff, throws a phone and olives at Amanda, who threatens Kokomani with a kitchen knife. Kokomani drives further down the road encountering Rudy, who recognises him, and offers money to hire Kokomani’s car, first €50, then offering €250.

Kokomani hears banging sounding like ‘wood on wood’ from the house. (Amanda also reports hearing "thuds" in her "gift" letter to the police.)Rudy says there is a birthday party at the cottage, and the knife being waved by Amanda is for the friend's birthday cake. Kokomani refuses to hire his car, driving off, having seen Raff in his wing mirror running at him with another knife. Raff pursues him to the lights, where a motorist asks Kokomani for directions. Kokomani has to reverse his car to allow the breakdown truck, which is probably just arriving, to manoeuvre. Kokomani leaves (Kokomani statement).

22:30 to 23:00 A witness heard “a man and a woman arguing in Italian” inside the cottage “at about 22.30 or 23.00 on the night of November 1,” followed by an, “agonising scream”.

22:30 Alessandra Formica, a police witness, said her partner was almost knocked over by the North African man running away from the scene. The couple also witness the broken down car and breakdown truck.

23:00 - ish A dark coloured car is seen parked outside the cottage (per garage mechanic witness – Gianfranco Lombardi). “It was about 11pm on the night of 1st November 2007, and I was in the area because I had been called out to fix a broken-down car…When I got to Via Sant Antonio, close to where the house where Meredith Kercher was murdered, I saw a dark-coloured car parked outside and I noticed the gate on the drive was open…I didn’t notice anyone in the car and I didn’t notice anyone coming or going during the eight or 10 minutes it took me to load the broken-down car onto my tow truck.” The statement is of interest because Raff has a dark-coloured car, but claims he was not at the house. Police did not find any of Raff's own DNA in his own car.

23:00 Raff receives a telephone call from his father, which Raff does not pick up until he turns his phone back on early next morning. In his police statement 5th November 2007, Raff claims he took the call at circa 23:00, knowingly lying.

23:00 - estimated: Nara Capezalli, the woman who lives opposite the cottage, hears a long-drawn out scream coming from the house after which “at least two people” emerged and fled “in different directions.” Another witness who lived near the car parks metallic stairs heard the rattling sound of persons running up it.

23:00 to 23:30 Amanda and Raff are seen on the baseball court by a sixty-year-old witness, ‘Toto’ (Antonio Curatolo), cuddling, behaving erratically, and looking towards the house… “…their position of observation on the steps near via della Pergola overlooking the house.” “I saw Amanda and Raffaele around the square in 23-23:30 Grimana the first night of November. I am sure because the next morning the carabinieri were on the streets asking questions. “ Toto describes the Scientific Police as looking like aliens in space suits next morning, convincing police of the verisimilitude of his statement. Amanda and Raff go down in the direction of the house.

Kokomani's eye witness account indicates the three were in a reckless drugged state.

I always am flabbergasted when the guilters portray Amanda as the slutty druggie party girl and Meredith as the innocent saintly virgin. I personally do not care about either person's sexual activities or drug use. It is irrelevant as to what happened to Meredith.

That said. It was Amanda who worked multiple jobs to pay for the semester abroad. It was Amanda that took a job in Italy and was working Halloween while Meredith was drinking heavily and partying. Meredith had a casual sexual relationship with her pot growing neighbor while Amanda was dating the son of a doctor who was seriously pursuing his studies.

As I said, it is irrelevant. But the attempts at demonizing Amanda are absurd selective tripe.

Amanda herself describes herself as going to Italy to look for sexual adventure. By her own account she is recklessly promiscuous, even putting a picture of Federico, the cocaine dealer on the train, whom she had sex with in her hotel room the same day, up on her myspace. No-one cares, except this behaviour can be a key diagnostic of a psychopathic personality. I am surprised her parents weren't concerned.

Amanda imposed these seedy characters onto the cottage in her irresponsible behaviour. Instead of getting help for Mez, whom she knew had been fatally injured, she callously delayed calling the police and subverted the investigation by making false accusations against her innocent boss.

Bruno and Marasca determined in perpetuity, as a legal fact, Amanda was at the cottage, washed off Mez blood from her person and covered up for Rudy. They decreed the burglary was staged. Only an insider at the house would have the motive to stage a burglary to distract police attention away from a resident. Bruno-Marasca decreed there were more perpetrators than just Rudy.

Police are not looking for anyone else.

Totally agree.

The two girls seem like perfectly normal students.

But the slut shaming from certain people is getting ridiculous.

Ahhh except Curatolo saw them there from 9:27 until just before midnight and neither the tow truck driver nor the car occupants saw anything.

Curatolo was also sure because the kids were there in masks and taking the disco buses.

The kids didn't test positive for any drugs.

Totally false. And TOTALLY IRRELEVANT as you said yourself. My brother smoked pot, took and took every other drug understand the sun, yet I have never done any drugs with the exception of consuming a little alcohol, say every few years. You are painting Amanda guilty through very casual associations. On one hand, you say it doesn't matter while at the same time insinuating something nefarious.

It's really sad and says far more about you than it says anything about Amanda. Absurd tripe.

They never do recognize those trifles.
