It's the way stuff builds on other factoids. Upon her return to Seattle in 2011, there was a knife murder (I have no idea if it was ever solved). True to form the guilt-sites speculated if she had been involved.

Just recently there was another murder which made it to the pages of one or more of those sites, with the same accusation.

Did she sexually manipulative her present boyfriend to help with them?

I know the police better than you ever will. (Unless you marry one)

I want the police to do their job, period. I don't want them to catch just anyone and "say" that person is guilty. I want them to catch the right person, not just scare someone into buckling and regurgitating the story they fed them.

Would it make you happy to know that an innocent person paid for your family's misery? Would you really be satisfied?

I don't see anyone setting up an innocent person (except Amanda herself).

So? That doesnt mean they dont make mistakes. Police are human and have flaws, like the rest of us. Cops are maybe more prone to arrogance and confirmation bias than any group of people imaginable. They are used to being the alpha dog taking control of every situation. The also see the world in terms of its the cops against the world. They rightfully believe the public doesn't understand how difficult their job is and they are right, we don't. They consider their profession to be a a fraternity where loyalty to each other is appreciated above pretty much everything. Most really want to serve their fellow man and most cops are adrenaline junkies.

That said, they can't read minds. I'll still never forget one time I got pulled over for failing to dim my headlights. . I got immediately nervous. I really couldn't afford a ticket. He never said at the time why he stopped me, but his antenna was up. And the more he questioned me the more sure he was that I was up to something. He asked me if I had been drinking, I said no. He just stared me down and then asked if I was high on something else. I said no. He then asked if he could search my car. At first I said no. Then he said he didn't need my permission and then suggested that it would be harder on me if I didn't say yes. I agreed. He then handcuffed me and put me in the back of his patrol car. (Said that was for my protection) And then with the help of another cop who just arrived proceeded to tear my car apart on the side of the road. He came back twice and asked me where the drugs were. I'm like "what drugs? " He said it would be much worse on me if they ended up finding them as opposed to me telling them. I said I don't have any drugs. Finally, they gave up and pulled me from the car and uncuffed me. The other cop left and the original cop said I was lucky they couldn't get the K9 unit to help otherwise I'd be on my way to jail. And then he told me not to forget to dim my high beams for oncoming traffic. And then he left with my car torn apart.

I have never taken any drugs, ever. But that cop spent more than an hour searching my car and left believing I had gotten away with a crime somehow. He was angry at me!

I want the police to help me when I need help. Otherwise I expect them to be courteous and leave me alone.

Almost everyone can relate to a story regarding 'bad cops'.

Your mistake was probably to show attitude that caused your bad cop to show you who was boss.

Yes, uniformed jobs can attract officious types and often a mean nasty type is prized to get ugly with the mean ugly crooks. 99.9% of the time we see unpleasant police behaviour, they have a completely different perspective, which if you knew, would make you realise mostly they are not being personally vindictive at all.

And yet she did not meet Patrick. I also don't think she said she was procuring sex for Meredith. She also did not say she witnessed Mez's murder.

You have her remembering things THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. She texted Patrick that night. She NEVER texted Rudy. Or is that too difficult to accept?

Is it too difficult for you to accept that Marasca and Bruno have made a legal ruling that Amanda COVERED UP FOR RUDY. As laid down in their written reasons, and as unanimously agreed by the tribunal of judges, Amanda substituted Rudy for PATRICK in her written confessions.

Accept it. It's official. It's now a historical fact.

A growing number of scientists and legal scholars, though, have raised concerns about Reid-style interrogation. Of the three hundred and eleven people exonerated through post-conviction DNA testing, more than a quarter had given false confessions—including those convicted in such notorious cases as the Central Park Five. The extent of the problem is unknowable, because there’s no national database on wrongful convictions. But false confessions, which often lead to these convictions, are not rare, and experts say that Reid-style interrogations can produce them.

One quarter is roughly 76. It includes five who were the Central Park Five, so that can be treated as the same incidence of forced confession, IOW 71 out of 311 were actually false. Not wishing to downplay the Central Park Five, but they were members of a 30-strong gang who had moved south through the park beating up everybody they came across. Sure they were innocent of murder and rape, but they ought not to have been there at all. They have to take some responsibility for being arrested.

Something is being done about false confessions, as it is only going to result in a mistrial even if the 'false confession providers' are really guilty. In the UK we now have PEACE where the police's sole duty is to gather information, and it is considered unethical to make value judgements as to whether the witness is lying or not.

In 2005, DNA evidence came to light showing that another man’s semen had been found in the victim, and Rivera was granted a new trial. Prosecutors offered a couple of theories to explain the DNA—that the child must have been sexually active and bore the semen of one of her partners, and that Rivera, while raping her, had failed to ejaculate; or that Rivera had a partner who also raped the child. Rivera was found guilty again. He appealed the case and won. In January, 2012, after twenty years in jail, he walked free. He is now suing John E. Reid & Associates, his prosecutors, and members of the police and sheriff’s departments who questioned him.

Good luck to him.

Amanda became a psychopath for the first and only time in her life at the very same moment a known knife carrying, wall climbing, rock throwing, glass breaking, trespassing, burglar was drenching himself in Meredith's blood, and imposing himself in her body.

Year after year, day after day, she's just Amanda the soccer player, Amanda the honor student, Amanda the bad guitar player. And then one night, for one hour, while the blood of Meredith flows over Rudy's hands, pants, and shoes, Amanda transforms into Ted Bundy. Rudy is a transformative figure, Amanda may as well be him. I think on a certain level, the PGP do not believe in Rudy. He doesn't exist for them. Far beneath their own conscious thoughts, down in their most primal instinctual comprehension, where Rudy should be, Amanda is. She's the only one there, standing over Meredith's lifeless body, holding the knife. Nothing will ever penetrate this.

Amanda was actually all of these things.

Was she an 'honours' student? Please provide pic of her wearing chords to prove it.

No, I just read through the testimony and news reports on this case.

Columbo was a great show BTW. Love Peter Falk. But if you ever watched Columbo you would know that he never intimidated anyone. That was never his MO.

I know of Colombo. I can't remember watching a single episode.

I do love the Police Academy films.

Why do you think Borderline Psychopath Criminals (=criminally insane) are usually locked up for a very long time, if not life? Unfortunately they think they are entitled to kill someone for a flimsy reason such as, "I don't like Mondays".

Actually, my brother is married to the daughter of a top cop in Germany and she carries a gun.

I don't see anyone setting up an innocent person (except Amanda herself).

Wow!

I have a top policeman working for me part time on Saturdays.

Big deal! It means nothing.

AK/RS case was botched by the investigation and the court. Were it not for the police botching up the case that was would never have happened.

No evidence = NO EVIDENCE

Is it too difficult for you to accept that Marasca and Bruno have made a legal ruling that Amanda COVERED UP FOR RUDY. As laid down in their written reasons, and as unanimously agreed by the tribunal of judges, Amanda substituted Rudy for PATRICK in her written confessions.

Accept it. It's official. It's now a historical fact.

BS - again proving your complete ignorance regarding judgements and the way they are written.

The "judicial fact" was created by the lower court. It wasn't for the B/M court to debate this. They simply repeated the "judicial fact" as is customary in judgements.

Amanda covered up for Rudy my meticulously preserving every one of his prominent and easily identifiable traces and then staging his precise break-in method.

You must be on drugs because it doesn't say anything like that. But other than the fact that they acquitted both of them the rest really doesn't matter.

As I said in their final written reasons. Accept it.

ETA And in fact, it doesn't come from previous judicial findings, it is Marasca-Bruno's original reasoning.

Wow. Of all the random non sequitor responses this has to be the most non sequitorial of them all.

You have talent!

You cant prove ANY of those things. Yet you demand that we prove she was an honors student by showing pictures of her in chords that one wears to a graduation ceremony that you know she didn't attend? Don't you think it's hypocritical to demand proof of all of us and yet provide none for your crazy claims?

A couple of days ago, you insisted you knew better than Amanda's lawyers about how the latest callunia charge will be confirmed by the CSC before the statute of limitations runs out. You expected us to accept your version as fact and when I asked you to provide a legal citation you haughtily replied that I had been told how the appeal process worked...ducking any responsibility of a actually doing anything to support your own arguments.
