Continuation Part 18: Amanda Knox/Raffaele Sollecito

It is somewhat common for an annoyed complainant calling the police about noisy neighbors to embroider the seriousness of the incident in order to get a prompt and serious police response. In this particular case described above the complainant alleged youth throwing rocks, yet he specifically said the police should not contact him about it. He didn't want to be bothered by a cop, upon arriving on the block, ringing his doorbell to ask details of the complaint.

I'd like to add that this area around the UW is also heavily populated with Fraternities, Sororities dorms and apartments. There are people walking those streets at virtually any time, day or night. A party goer may have thrown rocks but so could just about anyone. One could hardly hold Amanda accountable for all these people.

But hey, it makes a good story for a lying guilter.

Bill could you provide us with the comments from CD's Blog in 2007, 2008 and 2009 that would be fab.

Since you are an expert on this, do you have the posts she deleted as well? You can read about those on PMF archives.

You started on this case in 2011, correct?

I don't think those comments now exist. IIRC I used the WayBack service to get the jist of some of her offerings, but the comments sections did not survive.

I started reading in Aug 2011... cannot really remember when a real interest in Dempsey took hold. I do remember when i was vacilitating about guilt or innocence that I found it suspicious that Dempsey in her book had included verbatim one of Knox's final memorales, but only half of it. It led me to then wonder if because of her overall stance she purposely perhaps left out something otherwise incriminating. When I finally tracked down the second half I was baffled, because it was not incriminating.

If I have portrayed myself as an expert on this I, like Galileo, will need to recant. I'm not. Far from it.

If you think me one, then dude you and I need to do coffee at a neutral location!!!

I offered what I offered upthread by memory. I have not been into the PMF archives, nor do I have a private stash of comments from those days.

What there once was, IIRC, was a thread on IIP which briefly dealt with Machiavelli's migration from Candace's blog to PMF and IIP itself. There was a lot of talk about comparing and contrasting his comments on the blog with more "friendly territory" like PMF or TJMK. I'd assumed it was comprehensive. Maybe not.

I started posted on CD's and Frank's blog in Oct. of 2008--never did do PMF or TJMK. What's your point?

Pfffft I'm getting bored waiting for Vixen to produce evidence of this "whole series of desperate texts" with which Knox was "bombarding MezKERCHER... begging to join her, to the point of stalking".

I'm confident that she has this evidence, since she's already confidently stated that "we all know" I had omitted half of the texts in my production of the sum total of 3 (THREE) texts sent between Knox and Kercher that night (two sent by Knox and one sent by Kercher). That would clearly tend to indicate that there is readily available reliable evidence supporting her assertion.

I don't know - maybe Vixen's simply forgotten about providing this evidence. But no matter - I'll make sure I remind her every time she shows up here in the near future :)

Ain't gonna happen. Like the claim of the criminal record, we all know that this too is a fabrication.

I just don't get it LJ. If there is real evidence of Amanda's guilt, present it for god sakes. Please. If Amanda and Raffaele are guilty, there is no reason to lie about it.

Vixen acts as if we haven't all gone over this with a fine tooth comb countless times already. Present the truth and let people decide. Why on earth make up things that can easily be refuted with court records?

If there really is evidence of guilt, I would love to read it myself.

Well, the shopkeeper a year after the event said she was in his shop ACTUALLY LOOKING at the cleaning stuff he had for sale. Come on, what's wrong with you!

Exactly - me too, absolutely. I have zero emotional attachment to any belief in Knox's/Sollecito's non-guilt or innocence. It's only my belief because I firmly conclude that all the available reliable, credible evidence (and absence of evidence) shows a) zero indication of the participation of Knox or Sollecito, and b) is entirely consistent with Guede acting alone. And having come to that firm conclusion, I am prepared to vehemently argue my position.

But if any credible, reliable evidence emerged pointing to the participation of Knox and/or Sollecito, I would readily reconsider my opinion. If any credible, reliable evidence emerged that contradicted Knox's/Sollecito's version of events, I would certainly pause for thought. Likewise if any credible, reliable evidence emerged which proved that Guede could not have committed this crime alone.

As for Machiavelli, because of his characteristic comments (!) On Dempsey's blog, he was invited as an English-speaking but Italian voice to the now closed PMF.ORG. And the rest is history!

Just wanted to say that way, way back when, Peggy Ganong herself (owner of .ORG) gave Machiavelli an introduction in (2010?) just before he started posting (as Yummi) on .ORG. Peggy, back then, made mention of his guilter bona-fides in that intro, including (IIRC) the tenor of his posts on Candace's blog.

We have all seen the evidence. When seen through the eyes devoid of suspect-centrism the conclusion can only be as the Marasca/Bruno court ruled. When the DNA-evidence fell apart in 2011, we were promised "all the other evidence", seemingly because there was enough to convict even if one sees Stefanoni's work for what it was. There was no "all the other evidence".

There. That's as brief as I can be.

I followed this case since the first day it broke in the States. I always thought Knox was innocent because I related to her. But as the 'evidence' came about, it all seemed like leaps of faith and huge jumps to conclusions. I read Miss Represented (?) which seemed to say crazy unsupported things about Knox. The author was later found to misrepresent her credentials. From the beginning, the 'evidence' seemed far-fetched and inconclusive to me. And pmf and tjmk never were logical. I read Candace's page and Frank's also. I've mostly just read the blogs and sites, but to me the evidence against her and Sollecito always seemed trumped up.

Does she really think that all of us are so demented that we are handing out free passes for murder? Why?

Because I live in the same city and I think Amanda is attractive? If I actually thought Amanda killed Meredith, I wouldn't care what happened to her. It's that I see no credible evidence of guilt that I'm on her side. The thought of going to prison for more than 20 years for something she didn't do is my motive.

I've gone over the evidence, there just isn't any. About the only piece of evidence that made me believe that they might have done it was supposedly finding Raffaele's DNA on the bra clasp. But the circumstances of how it was collected and Stefanoni's refusal to present the electronic files along with her results makes that lacking in credibility.

I find the idea of these 3 people of such short acquaintance coming together to murder someone for no real reason to be absurd. But strange things happen. If there was credible proof, I'd have to accept that. Koko's testimony was not credible. There is no electronic trail that links either Amanda or Raffaele to Rudy which in today's world of young people doesn't make ANY sense.

There is NO way that Raffaele's cooking knife was transported back and forth to the cottage. There is no need for it and contrary to recent claims it doesn't match the outline on the sheet.

I find the idea that it was a sex game gone awry also absurd. People have sex to have fun, not for committing vidence. These idiots turn Raffaele into Amanda's sex slave as if he wasn't a smart guy with a mind of his own.

Give me something truthful, credible and incriminating and I'm on your side Vixen. But up until now, I have yet to read anything that meets those qualifications. NOTHING.

Yes, but there were rocks in the street.

He didn't want the residents to know exactly who complained to avoid retribution. Understandable.

The party was loud and unruly and most likely deserved the ticket. Some of the drunk students were most likely throwing rocks but I doubt at cars as on the street, 12th NE, one could miss.

You are completely wrong. Charles Manson was not at the scene of the murders, but guilty nonetheless.

You continue to prove your ignorance, even off topic. Manson was present at the LaBianca household -- he told his followers he had to go help them and "show them how to do it" because it was not done correctly the first time. He didn't do any stabbing, but he was there.

No Tesla. There are no Frats or Sororities in the neighborhood. It is 2 blocks north of the Y that's on fiftieth. Now if one thinks West Seattle is around the corner from the U Dub then sure they are right there. The closest Greek building is about ten blocks away. The street is almost all houses with a few small apartments near 50th. It is a quiet residential street.

I've driven the area all my life. First on my bike and then cars and have never, ever seen people throwing rocks.

It seems very clear that some drunk students at the party were throwing some rocks but so what?

My point was that BW referred to Mach's posts on CD's blog and BW didn't start on the case until after Hellmann. I've looked for those comments starting years ago but couldn't find them and if BW knew of Mach's posts there, I thought they must be archived as I know he didn't read them at the time.

I posted with you on Frank's. I was "Anonymous" ;)

Maybe, I have the wrong address. What do you have?

Mignini is a prosecutor (with an agenda), and a shockingly bad one at that. Even if Mignini was a psychologist his agenda as prosecutor would preclude his opinion as being nothing more than self serving.

AK's exclamations in court were of horror at the murder, which is completely normal.

Amanda Knox's espressions expressed disgust, not horror. And she herself also chose the word "disgusting".

Don't forget, btw, that Knox was not supposed to know any detail about Meredith's death at the time when she told those details for the first time, at the police stateion.

This is a tedious misrepresentation of the actual facts. Everything Amanda thought she knew about the murder came from the imperfect information she gleaned from others when the body was discovered. Your attempts to distort the truth now and always are disgraceful.

You're going to have to be more specific. There is no evidence, NONE. That Amanda demonstrated having knowledge about the murder that she shouldn't have. But then again, if the cops didn't destroy the recording of the interrogation, you might be able to prove that.
