You are missing the ONLY important point, which I made in the very first post of that exchange:



cicorp lied when he started of a post with the words "Professional Mechanical Engineer Tony Szamboti...".



The issue is not so much what Tony is or isn't, but that cicorp embellished a post with a FALSE claim and now refuses to admit it. cicorps dishonesty is the issue here, CE, and you know it.

CE, can you at least concede that Tony is NOT a professional engineer? If not, you are invited to the bet, too.

I may be out on limb when I call cicorp on lies, yeah. But after I pointed out the facts, he could have said "I stand corrected. Look, I wasn't lying. I honestly believed he is a P.E., but now I see that he probably is not" or "I didn't know the specific legal meaning of the term P.E., thanks for pointing that out"., That his what an honourable man would have done, and in that case I would have hurridly writte my own apology for assuming a lie where a simple misconception sufficed as explanation.


CE, I see that you are allergic to honest statements. I had hoped you would have the personal stature and integrity to concede that cicorp was, in fact, WRONG.
I find I was mistaken. No honest concessions should ne expected from truthers.

Tell me, CE, do you believe that Toni Szambiti is a Professional Engineer, as cicorp claimed, and never retracted? If so, accept my bett and earn 200 bucks. If not, it shouldn't hurt too much to just say so: "No Oystein, Tony is not a P.E.".

I don't care. What part of I don't care don't you understand? I don't care. I have no interest in what Szamboti has to say or whether Tony Szamboti is a licensed, active Professional Engineer in at least one US state. I never did.

The issue is not Szamboti. The real issue is that your fellow truther cicorp made FALSE statements about Szamboti, and refuses to retract them. The real issue is that you make excuses for a fellow truther whan that guy is caught lying.
This behaviour of yours, cicorp's or CE's reflects badly on each of you individually - I know now that you are cool with proven lies and ready to make excuses for falsehoods. It also reflects badly on truthers as a whole. Three truthers chimed in here, and three truthers avoid admitting the truth like a vampire avoids sunlight.

Poor Szamboti has nothing to with the three of you being cool with lies, falsehoods and misrepresentations. It isn't Szamboti's fault that none of you care for evidence and facts.

Clayton: Slowly, just for you: cicorp made FALSE statements, I proved them to be false, and you made excuses for cicorp. Now you run away from what you must think are 200 possible bucks.

Why do YOU make excuses for false statements, Clayton? Why?

Or are you by now ready to admit that Szamboti is indeed not a P.E., and cicorp spake falsely, and you made excuses for cicorp?
 
CE weasle - want to address the issue? Did cicorp make true or false statements about Szamboti's status and the Emnid poll?
Is it important to you if fellow posters make true or false statements?

Maybe if we wanted to know how a motor failed, or how a bracket holding an elevator door failed, but not an entire building. That is the problem there Cicorp, you're appealing to a FALSE authority. I would not ask a mechanical engineer about structural engineering. Sorry, not an authority on buildings.

Maybe if we wanted to know what HVAC equipment to put in there!! LOL!!
