Worthless, slimy excuses for men have done far worse, with identifiable victims, at our expense or at the expense of their campaign contributors. Some of them remained in office, doing immense harm to the country and sometimes to their victims.

When Diapers Vitter is driven from office and hounded to the point of disembowling himself, Weiner should step down. Otherwise, it is clear that the public does not, for the most part, really give a rat's.

It is up to the people of his district whether he has a career any more or not. At least one disgusting, sexually damaged pervert has done worse and still serves.

So? The sludge monster is still a cancer on the body politic and there are people who have actually harmed people in congress. Weiner did not harm anybody who has come forth. His wife might be hurt or kind of disgusted, but is keeping it to herself.

It's kind of like discovering that tomatoes are not poisonous even if eating the leaves does make people sick.

There is no reason to apologise for not thinking that the sludge monster or the perverts who feed it might be right for a change.

This is a Skeptics forum. As soon as Weiner failed to deny the photo was him, it was obvious he was guilty. Yet you kept trying to blame Breitbart for the whole thing. Which made you wrong, whether you admit it or not.

You're right about this. You weren't right when you said that he didn't post the picture. Just let the people score their points and maybe focus on the substantive issue that you're actually correct about.

It's mostly me getting all sanctimonious about American fixation on sexual scandal as opposed to issues of merit, and lefty refusing to say he was wrong.

Greenwald tries the distraction that Weiner's lies were about something that's nobody's business but his own.

1. Is it nobody's business to say his FB account was hacked?
2. Is it nobody's business that he (by his own admission) sent an unsolicited lewd picture to a college student?

Apologise? For what? You expect a lawyer to apologise for defendig a guilty party? I just pointed out that none of the evidence passed the most basic sniff test, and so was not even any of our business and that the slduge monster had no business saying BOO!
