CT's can't make jokes. I think it is part of the pathology. They also don't construct coherent stories that have a beginning, middle and conclusion. Again, part of the pathology.

They just need to be dead serious and completely natural. William is trying too hard to look intelligent, it doesn't work.

I'd go with persecution complex. In the few, generally inconsequential interactions I've had with him, he's already called me on my "hostile tone" and such. He seems to assume everybody's ganging up on him even when it just ain't so. I'd say, if you can't stand to have it pointed out that you're wrong, even in the most minor respect (well, compared to Kirkman anyway!), then be somewhere else.
