Good NWO!*

I missed so much fun???

(Not that I could contribute...glad I survived sneaky laziness-and-tireness-inducing-attack-of-NWO-faction-2)

Paraphrazing much...

EPIC. WIN.

I am honored to have one of my posts paraphrased for an NWO kitty comic!

And now, a joint project with SRW. Words (mostly) by SRW (used with permission!), art and dramatic editing by Yours Truly.

How do I destroy thee? Let me count the ways.
I can shred and send thee to the depth and breadth and might
of the deepest ocean, thus ever out of sight
But the means of shredding it to easy, I can hear the nays;
So with hush-a-boom I do level thee;
I ninga seed, with thermionic bombs by roaring fires-light
I destroy thee neatly, and truthies scream that ain’t right;.
I destroy thee most completely the building can’t be raised.
I destroy thee with termite thus the building falls with grace,
In ways only imagined by truthers childish faith
I destroy thee with nano-thermite cause bombs would blow the seam,
It makes no sense, so I scream, deploy the astro-beams,
He said, pull-it! --- the truthie hoards will claim,
Because they cannot accept gravity is to blame.

With apologizes to Elizabeth Barrett Browning and everyone else for that matter.

edit: Horatius, i found the old tool to be much more intuitive than the new one. Took me more time than expected to get it right.

Other people have complained about this. They've restructured a lot of the tools, and there's a lot more back-and-forth communication with their server. We can do a lot more now, but it does end up being more complicated. I'm still discovering new functions.

Every now and then someone will post a tutorial revealing something they've just found. Apparently the complete lack of instructions on how to use it are part of the design. They want people to explore, and figure out new and unexpected ways to do things.

For instance, this:

is my best-rated strip on the SG site. I discovered this functionality by accident. I clicked the "mask" button a second time, when I had intended to delete the mask entirely, and Voilà!

ETA: Here's another tutorial I did:

My biggest problem was to get the frames cloned - in the old version they had a very easy "clone" thingy with left and right arrows. As you can see, i finally managed to do it manually (and not exact) somehow. Next time i have an idea, i will take a more thorough look at the new features.

Yeah, that's annoying. There are some tricks to make copying frames more efficient, but we've been asking them to bring back the old frame copy. It might show up again in the next few updates.

I suppose idea of "old links working" will never be implemented...
