CNN "journalist" threatens to shoot census workers

WOW! What a crazy liberal! She admits to making a mistake, apologizes, and ask for retribution if what she did was illegal! What an irrational liberal activist! How dare she do the mature thing and act like an adult. She should have screamed that she was being misconstrued because gunshots don't kill people, bullet wounds do!

Why would this creature advocate violence against Bush 43, in the first place, twice? Only a "rational" lib would do this twice, right? Since Air America is defunct, who knows if Rhoades ever learned her lesson.

Well I believe those were meant to be comedy pieces but I don't know the full context. Nor do I care because she apologized and accepted personal responsibility for her words. This is a lesson the right wing could learn from. Instead of ducking a dodging the consequences of ones stupid words accept personal responsibility for your actions. He needs to quit whining about the liberal media and man up.

Drop this BS about never saying the gun was loaded or where he would point it. As a gun owner I know that every weapon is loaded and should be treated as such. As a concealed weapons permit owner I know that you do not brandish a weapon without the full intent to use it. Any other attitude towards guns is irresponsible and reckless.

She made no such apology for her first suggestion about killing the POTUS. She only apologized on the 2nd occasion because she realized she could be in deep kaka with the Secret Service. It is OK in your world to threaten the POTUS if it is supposed to be a "comedy piece?" That is absurd. When has this women ever been the least bit amusing anyway? Even Howard Stern, a guy know for comedy, got in trouble in 1995 when after the shooting of Tejano singer Selena, he played her music with added gunfire sound effects over it.

There are states where open carry is legal without any permit. I'm sure some people feel threatened when they see a civilian with a firearm on their hip. The firearm need not be pulled from its holster to be considered intimidating.

Apparently. If I pull out a gun at the next 4th of July parade it clearly is not a threat so I will use it to wave at the police officers. I wonder how that will go down with them? I'll make sure to quote Cicero denying it is a threat as they cuff me. Hey Cicero, maybe you can be my lawyer?

Census employees (twerps, as you refer to them) come in for a lot of heat for reasons that they had nothing to do with causing. They're only trying to make a living for a short time before the gov and big business can come to enough of a compromise to allow ordinary twerps to find some gainful employment again. I really don't think they need your rifle or your ad hominems just because you think they embody your grievances.

There is at least one person on the forum here who is such a twerp; perhaps several. They are federal employees, albeit temps. I presume that molesting them is a federal offense (ref second quote above). I, for one, would gladly stand as a witness if I indeed witnessed such intimidation, or one of the four or five incidents every ten years that results in such a twerp being killed or injured. Just on principle.
