Well, in that case no one is overpaid.

How is he overpaid? Some people are overpaid, because they are given more money than the sum of what they produce. That's the definition of overpaid.
Clooney is not given more money than the sum of what he personally produces.
Your definition of overpaid seems to be based on an imaginary aesthetic, and so far you cannot seem to defend this or even describe it without resorting to a straw man defense concerning the concept of opinions them self. Nobody is challenging the concept of opinions.

I have to agree with ravdin on the "overpaid" debacle here. It's just an opinion, sheesh. I think many pro athletes are overpaid because I personally feel they don't deserve millions to toss a ball or a puck around, but obviously their employers feel differently. It was an offhand comment and just an opinion, no need to get all s00per-serious at debating the semantics, for crying out loud.

(For the record, I am 100% indifferent about Clooney, his salary or his activism.)
