For those that don't actually hate Clinton and are more concerned with who will be the next President there is nothing happy about any of this.
When I read that, I thought of Rube as well!
What I find most entertaining, is how the fanboys/girls have run to the hills!

My wife is a huge Hillary supporter, so naturally I've been tweaking her with each email-gate revelation. Nothing has gotten through, until this morning:
Me: "So the guy the Clinton's hired to set up their private server pleaded the 5th."
Wife: "Oh, that's bad."
So, if she's anything like typical Hillary supporters, this is very bad. And I think it is. What pops into your mind when you hear "pleading the fifth"? Not good things, I imagine. For me, it's mobsters and corrupt politicians.

How exactly does "I didn't think about" her email come out of mouth: at best she looks incompetent, at worst she proves herself to be an exctionally bad liar.
She hired her campaigns IT guy and pays him off the books to run her cowboy server and she gets on national TV and claims she did not think about it? That is her explanation? And she wants to be President of the United States?

More frightening to me is, despite this complete cluster of an ever unfolding affair, there are plenty of people more than willing to vote for her, still.

Well, if Ted Cruz got the nod, I would still vote for Hillary.
I don't think she was selling govt. secrets. I think she knew her tenure as SOS would open her up to ridicule (who doesn't make mistakes?), and she wanted a way to delete anything that might come back to haunt her in an election.
I knew one SS agent who worked around the Clintons, she is an awful person who has zero respect for people. So yes I'm happy she is being exposed for the person she is.
Now if we can get Bill to pay for all the women he abused. Wouldn't you agree?
Could she have been selling influence through the foundation on a presidency that was a sure thing?

If she used the foundation for anything it would have been for her personal political ambitions, and perhaps favors or connections. But indications at present are that's the extent of it, unless more comes up as with the email scandal.
Selling government secrets would amount to treason.... and even with her idiotic decisions on the email server I don't personally think she was that stupid to do something that would have legitimately brought on bipartisan charges of corruption. Maybe my expectations could be wrong but past history seems to indicated that partisan ship goes only so far for most when something serious enough hits the fan

I doubt it, if by under the table you mean she paid him in cash or in some way or another she didn't properly account for the expenditure. He probably would qualify as an independent contractor and as such she doesn't have many responsibilities beyond making sure the expenditure was properly accounted for in the foundation books and tax filings.
I'm not so sure. I don't think Biden has widespread appeal. It is hard to make your mark as a vice president and mostly the mark that Biden has made is to say the wrong thing at the wrong time.
Prediction:1. Hillary withdraws for health reason - probably not
Prediction 2. Hillary is indicted for something - probably not
Prediction 3. Obama pardons her - if she is actually indicted it would be a tough call for him but my guess is that he would just work to get some sort of arrangement in place where the issue just didn't end up being something he needs to deal with. Obama seems to be having fun being president right now and I don't think he wants a mess like this to bum out his overall good vibe.

If you are some poor teenager and you get caught stealing hubcaps you probably go to jail and you have a criminal record that might follow you the rest of your life.
If you are a wealthy guy with connections and influence and you sell the use of your connections and influence by taking massive speaking fees where do you stack up ethically with the teenager stealing hubcaps?
Regardless about how you might feel about it, the wealthy guy will get away with it completely and will get to spend the money he gets from the people trying to buy his favor. That is the way of the world. How much did Hillary Clinton partake in the world of influence peddling and corruption? I don't know.
Wareyin's view is probably something along the line that Clinton was above petty influence peddling and any accusations along that line are just made up partisan crap. And I think it is a fair guess that 16.5's view would be different than that.
