It's hard to listen to Comey's self righteous bull ****, but to summarize a couple things:

James Comey ‘Mildly Nauseous’ Over Idea He Swayed the Election Given what Trump has turned out to be, I'll bet Comey is more than mildly nauseous. Given how he rationalized his decisions, I imagine he tells himself over and over, he had no choice, even though he obviously did.

He has no *********** excuse for why he made stuff public about Clinton while withholding what he knew about Trump.

On the topic of the emails, as Feinstein pointed out, he operated under the assumption he was going to find some malicious intent in the emails they had yet to uncover, even though they had found no such thing in the thousands of emails they had reviewed, and, lo and behold they did not find any evidence of malicious intent in the new emails uncovered on Weiner's computer. IOW, Comey assumed Clinton was guilty from the beginning and continued to assume she was guilty even when he couldn't find anything supporting that assumption of guilt. He sent his last minute letter because he assumed he would find something. He found nothing..

Wow, what mishmash of misrepresentations and outright lies.

Next he specifically explained why he released the fact that Scumbag Private Citizen Weiner had Hillary Clinton's emails on his pervert computer:

My theory is that Huma backed up Clinton's emails to there with Clinton's knowledge. I think Clinton really wanted to save her private emails, but claimed to have deleted them because she didn't want people sifting through them, either the FBI or the Republicans.

Basis for the theory
1. It seems unlikely that Clinton really had so little interest in years of private emails that she would just decide to delete them permanently.
2. If she hadn't wanted her emails backed up she would have fired Huma immediately after she found out what Huma had done.

General comment
The person in the world most responsible for the election of Trump is Hilary Clinton. The fact that she continues to make self serving excuses for her abominable behavior is a strong suggestion that she is living in a fantasy world buoyed up by a coterie of sycophants. When I think of the disgusting behavior of Trump as president and the damage he is doing I think of Hilary Clinton and her greed, her hypocrisy, her incompetence and her silly lies that made it possible. It is time for Clinton to play with her grandchildren and fade out of the public eye. Her continued public presence is harmful to the Democratic Party and the policies that she claims to support.

Anyway, the FBI announced that Clinton's emails contained highly classified data in the summer of 2015. Clinton and her staff represented that they had turned over all devices with classified data on them.

Nearly a year and a half later it is discovered that a world renowned horndog has them on his freaking computer.

The only reason Trump is President is because of Hillary and her gang that could not shoot straight.

It's because the Comey hearing today the Republicans brought up Clinton's emails at every chance they got instead of addressing Comey's biased release of information on one investigation and not the other.

Pretty clear also that Comey was sure Clinton had done something malicious and was hiding it even though he never found any such thing.

There is another scenario here that doesn't involve anything sinister. It's too bad people are so convinced of Clinton's evil they don't even consider it.

To wit, the erased emails, as confirmed today by Comey, were all from her first 3 months and from her Blackberry, a device she switched from. Those are the missing emails.

Comey noted they found some of those on Weiner's computer and guess what, there was nothing in them.

I have to go to work but some of that was new to me and I'll need to look further into his comments today before putting my foot in my mouth.
